My toddler daughter Meagan loved her daycare in Cedar Park and was adjusted rather well. She had her routine in the morning and her favorite teachers that she would like to see before she could start her day. Everything was going perfect for her until my husband had landed jobs further North.
I had already started working and was making the commute to Ft. Hood. Six months later my husband landed a good job at Ft. Hood and it only made sense to move our daughter's daycare closer to our jobs. I had about two weeks to look for a quality daycare in the area that would be as good as the one that Meagan had in Cedar Park.
To tell the truth, I wasn't quite happy about uprooting our daughter but I knew that it was for the best. I looked at several daycares in Copperas Cove and wasn't impressed with a lot of them. It looked like the facilities were converted from old houses and the rooms looked rather cramped for a classroom of 10 children. Could you imagine having 10 children, tables, and chairs in a medium sized bed room.
I was very disappointed about not being able to find a comparable daycare in the area. I finally talked to a girl at work and she told me about Trinity Childcare Center. So that afternoon, I went to look at the daycare facility. The childcare center was located at a church and it was currently being renovated so that they could accommodate the children.
The one thing that impressed me was that the director had a packet to give me that had all the rules, prices, and forms to fill out if I chose their facility. No other facility in the area even offered me a packet or they didn't have any available. The children had an open area to play and take nap time in. However, I liked the fact that they were building a new bigger building in the back where the children would have their own separate classrooms according to their ages.
I decided to enroll my daughter at Trinity for daycare and she started the following week. All children like structure and hate change. The daycare ladies knew that Meagan was new and helped to ease her into the new daycare. The first day, Meagan cried and was kicking and screaming when my husband and I dropped her off. The teacher Ms. Brenda was very gentle with her and took care of her and reassured us that Meagan would be alright.
It took several weeks before Megan stopped crying and got used to the place. She likes eating breakfast with the other kids, reading scriptures with the group, and playtime outside. The daily reports that we get from her teachers is that Meagan is doing better each day. My husband and I were very happy to hear about that.
I liked Trinity Childcare Center so much that I immediately put my new baby on the waiting list for enrollment. To me, this is the best child care center in the city of Copperas Cove. Their buildings are nice and the rooms and children's play areas are always clean. The child care center also promotes a Christian atmosphere with good values. The children do different activities everyday and my daughter is always bringing home different projects for us to look at.
I recently just started taking my infant daughter to the daycare center. I was very impressed by how the staff takes such good care of my little daughter. They immediately keep a record of what time she arrives and I tell them when her last feeding was. They hold her or if she is tired then they put her in her crib. When I picked her up from the daycare, the staff gave me a sheet of paper telling me how many diaper changes, how many bottles she ate, and the times that she napped. The staff also immediately gathered my infant's things and made sure that I was alright to handle everything. This type of interaction is very impressive to me.
Overall, I am very happy with the care and love that Trinity Childcare Center has given both of my daughters. So far I have no complaints and would recommend the daycare center to anyone moving to the area and looking for a good place for your child or children to attend.
