There is still time to get out and play around Tarrant County during the holiday season. While leaves are still falling to the ground, the Trinity Park is a great place to go and dive in a big pile of them. This park stays open all year long and has space for kids, families, and individuals to enjoy. Visitors can play at the equipment, jog or ride a bike in the trails, travel by mini-train, or get close to nature on the riverfront. Thanks to one local charity, this site will soon be undergoing some renovations to make the town come out and notice.

The leaves are falling fast, yet the cold temperatures have not set in for the winter. Kids are still out romping on the three playground sets and buying treats from local vendors. While the cold will likely keep its traffic shut out, there is still time to go and feed the ducks. The large duck pond is home to a few hundred of various duck and geese. During the summertime months inner tubing on the river was a good way to kick back and relax. Now joggers are thinning out as well, but still hitting the trails.

While Fort Worth, TX is the seventh largest US city, its 300 miles perimeter includes over 220 parks. Established in 1928 by Federal grants, the site protected as Trinity Park is useful to many venues year round. Currently, the charity Trinity River Vision has plans to tear out the natural outer laying banks along the Trinity River's 88 mile path; and build a tourist sanction. A total of 90 separate projects are being organized to redirect public attractions here. After the ten year objective's end result will make the banks of the Trinity River into a boardwalk for boats, larger vendors, and walkways to function. Soon, this park and the remainder of the Trinity River will be transformed into a modern city's forefront tourist spot.

Trinity Park is located at 2401 University Dr., just past the I-30 Hwy exit off this main street. Miles form TCU this larger haven for recreation is near by the city's zoo, and the Botanical Gardens. To speak with management director of the park, please contact 817-871-5700.
