Triond Has Gotten Even Better

With a Little Help Adsense Can Make Sense

Janet Jenson
Triond is the first Paid-to-Write program I ever joined and it was the impetus for my trying Associated Content as well. What happened was that I saw an article published on AC that was very negative toward Triond and linked to that were several other opinions along the same lines. I was astounded because some of the things people were saying were simply not true. For instance the first article said that Triond had a very high minimum payout when in fact it is only 50 cents. Seriously, a chimpanzee could earn 50 cents a month and reach payout, I think. You know the story about putting enough chimps in a room with enough typewriters to churn out a novel, right?

So I signed up with Associated Content just to get permission to write a rebuttal and that went over well, so I did a few other articles, too, and now I like AC very much too, and it has become apparent that there are other AC members who are also big fans of Triond.

So what is new over there? If you have a Google Adsense account, and you have had at least five articles published on Triond they will link your Adsense account. You will still get the Triond earnings, but in addition to that they will showcase your work and format relevant Google ads to accompany it and then share the proceeds with you, Triond shows you how much you have earned from Google, but that money then goes directly into your Google account.

Why share the revenue with Triond? For me that is easy, I do it because they do all the work. Yes! Since the minimum payout from an Adsense account is $100, writers of blogs with small circulation are hard-pressed to generate enough traffic to make it worth their time to seek a payout that high. But if they have Triond articles circulating, too, that extra bit of revenue comes in effortlessly. I like this change!

Triond pays its members with PayPal accounts automatically every month if their earnings are at least fifty cents. They have improved their text editor, made it easy to insert your own photos, and added the option of revising your articles. They have also created user profiles with links to your articles and to the profiles and articles of your "buddies." They accept articles, poetry, and even photographs and drawings. As before, they continue to be pretty strict about adherence to their guidelines and will reject articles that they do not consider well written or appropriate. I think that is a good thing too.

Tony, when you join by all means add me as a friend on Triond. I am using InfoLinks now on my blogs and discontinued Adsense, but for those who have it, Triond is a good Adsense partner, I think.

I keep meaning to publish on Triond. I signed up over a year ago and haven't written there yet. Especially with another opportunity to earn on Adsense it would be good, since between my own blogs and several other revenue sharing sites I earn between $30-$150 a month there. I am aiming to try and earm over $100 every month. The cross linking of articles doesn't hurt either, more traffic, more friends/fans, and better google ranking...

Jack, my username on Triond is drAnn and I hope you will add me as a friend there. Glad your experience with Triond has been good so far! I did recently discontinue using Adsense, but I still love Triond and think it is a great improvement that they are sharing revenue in more ways. PS, I wrote another poem for Mimpi, rflol.

Hey, this is very good. I just had another article approved on Triond and I love the site. I get quick approval, but I immediately signed up for Google Adsense since its a win-win & its like basically free promotion & free revenue. Nice article. Thanks! :-)
