This is a company that lets you publish anything you want to from articles to pictures, for free, but they don't pay a flat rate like Associated Content. The Triond company leaves your work up for what they say is forever and they are gracious enough to let you collect lifetime royalties from it.
Where do the royalties come from? The royalties you earn are from ads placed next to your content from various companies. You earn money when someone clicks on your article then on any of the ads placed next to it. The catch is you don't get paid unless they purchase something from that link.
The site pays via paypal or check at the end of every month. After talking with many content producers from the site the most anyone that was reachable has ever made has been $20 in a month with over 100 articles in that same month.
I have been watching the site and talking to people from the site for quite awhile now and decided I would give it a try. This site is no associatedcontent.com by any means. This site doesn't host its own content, they farm it out to their sister sites to put your content wherever they see fit. Your article can end up on as many as 5 sites while you only get paid for one.
After signing up I submitted an article and automatically made it on to the sites top content producers list at number 4 before my content was published. There must not be very many members sticking around to publish there if I can be that high that fast. The same story that got me to number 4 was rejected for being to specific. It turns out they actually censor what you can publish, and making their "you can publish whatever you want" statement a lie.
I eventually got my story through after dumbing it down as much as I possibly could, and started to see a penny here and 5 cents there. Eventually it was payday, and my payment never came. The payment section on the site says it was sent November 30, 2006. We are now at January 5, 2007 and I have still to receive my $2.78. It's nothing to break the bank over, and certainly nothing to quit your day job over. The point here is principal. They own rights to my work and promised payment. I have never received payment and have never received a response to any of my emails or phone calls as to why this occurred.
Save yourself some time and gain more money by staying with Associated Content, this is the best gem yet!

I've been with Triond since 2007 and made good money with them and now that you can integrate your Adsense account with your Triond account - that really boosts your earnings!
AC and Triond are two very different sites, i feel. Triond is for those who are willing to work hard to express themselves and work hard to write stories while AC is for people who want to work in the newspapers or magazines. I honestly write mystery series on Triond and do assignments on AC even though im not 18. Besides AC is kinda better because they tell you right away that you need to be 18 to get paid and wait for you to be 18 to pay you while Triond doesn't. When i signed up for Triond i had to go to make a paypal to realize i need to be 18 to get the money.
I write for both AC and Triond and I must say I was glad to see so many Tionders defending the site. I must say that Triond is a much friendlier site and as Roberta stated we are like a family here. AC seems to be more about cliches and if your're in your in if not your are totally ignored.
this article is absolutely absurd...triond is not a scam...check your vocabulary..im earning thousands of dollar annually on TRIOND
Perhaps, you should check the meaning of the word scam before you post libelous comments about Triond. It is what it is. Low quality articles spew out, but that is not a scam.
"u guys suck, 2000 views i got 28$ 1000 views i got 12$, 10,000views i got 60$ no idea what you dumb shits are talking about. triond is the best."
This comment illustrates the "quality" of the most viewed articles on Triond better than anything anyone more articulate could have said... :)
BTW, I wrote a series of really good articles on various topics in approximately two months.
In TWO YEARS they got, I think, around 2 $ worth of views. I earned more than that for just a couple of articles in a MONTH at Suite 101. (Which is not open to everybody - just to illustrate how much I "suck".)
Triond is not a scam, but I cannot for the life of me see why anyone who is serious about quality writing woudl want to spend even a minute writing for it.
Triond is not a scam. Just because you didn't make any money from it, doesn't mean it can't be done. Different sites require different marketing strategies; and obviously you are not capable of applying them.
