Triple Thick Brilliant Brush-On Gloss Glaze from DecoArt sells for $5.99 for an 8 ounce container, or $3.99 for a 4 ounce container at Hobby Lobby stores. One coat of this super shiny glaze does the trick for most of my projects, so if you are working with smaller craft projects, Triple Thick Brilliant Brush-On Gloss Glaze from DecoArt is a good value.
Triple Thick Brilliant Brush-On Gloss Glaze from DecoArt can be used on a wide variety of hard surfaces. Craft projects made from wood, wicker, metal, plaster, resin, paper, ceramics, and as in my case, gourds, as well as other hard surfaces all work well with Triple Thick Brilliant Brush-On Gloss Glaze from DecoArt.
Triple Thick Brilliant Brush-On Gloss Glaze from DecoArt goes on wonderfully smooth. When I first tried Triple Thick Brilliant Brush-On Gloss Glaze from DecoArt on my "gourdaments" (tiny gourds transformed into unique Christmas ornaments) I brushed it on. I did need two coats to cover my small gourd evenly and thickly. The coats of glaze showed a few brush strokes but overall I was happy with the results. I then tried dipping my small gourds in Triple Thick Brilliant Brush-On Gloss Glaze from DecoArt. This created a perfectly smooth, beautiful, shiny, hard finish better than any finish I had ever tried before! After 24 hours of complete drying time, my gourds had a shiny, hard finish, perfect for the look I wanted to achieve.
In addition to creating the most beautiful, crystal clear finish I have found in any gloss glaze I have tried, Triple Thick Brilliant Brush-On Gloss Glaze from DecoArt is water washable. So instead of having to wear rubber gloves just to gloss my gourds, I simply wash my hands after using Triple Thick Brilliant Brush-On Gloss Glaze from DecoArt.

Post a CommentThe only downside to this product is the odor. Open a window and you're good to go. Love the gourds!
I'll have to forward to my friend that is just learning to work with gourds. Thanks.
Hmmmmmmmmm, I'll have to try this. It sounds like fun.
Great review am going to have to try this myself! If I ever find time to craft again :)
I like crafting too. I have never used this product, I usually go with a spray on. But, still....something to consider. Thanks!
Love your enthusiasm for this product :)
good to know, sounds like a product I would like.
Love the photo.
Oh wow, this product sound fantastic. I tend to use decoupage to seal a lot of my art work, but it takes so many applications to get that nice thick coat I'm after. Nice gourds by the way. :)
