Brainstormer Pub Quiz at Fado: Every Monday Night, Fado has its Brainstormer Pub Quiz. It's a popular event for clubs, and some social groups in the DC area set aside one Monday of the month to participate in the event. This quiz event involves 7 fast and furious rounds of questions. 4 of the rounds are dedicated to general knowledge questions. The 2 other rounds are related to the specific theme questions of the week, and one round has teams matching pictures, quotes, etc. Teams can be as big as 8 people, or they can be as small as 2 people. The winning team gets prizes, and the team with the coolest name wins something special too. The event starts at 8:00 p.m., but it's best to come early to get a good table.

Stump Trivia at Madam's Organ: We all know Madam's Organ in Adams Morgan is home to live blues music and southern cuisine. On Tuesdays, they are the home of Stump Trivia. Similar to Brainstormer Pub Quiz at Fado, this team contest puts your knowledge of everything you learn in school and Trivia Pursuit contests you held at home to the test. The game starts at 10 p.m.

Smart Ass Trivia Nightat Nellie's: One of U Street's newest additions to its nightlife scene, Nellie's is sports bar with big screens televisions to watch your favorite sports, DJ Nights on Friday, and home to smart ass trivia night every Wednesdays. For those who new at this to this event, Smart Ass is a weekly pub trivia night that holds two games every Wednesday night. Teams compete against each other to win money off their bar tab and other incredible prizes. It used to be held at Titan's in Logan Circle, but the venue has been closed for a while. Now, it has a home at Nellie's, just a few blocks from the 930 Club and DC9 nightclub. The 1st Smart Ass Game starts at 8 p.m., and the second game starts at 9 p.m.

Pub Quiz at Ireland's Four Fields: One of Cleveland Park's favorite hangouts, chosen teams have 90 minutes to fill out a lengthy quiz sheet and hand it in. When the sheets are finished and turned in, bar owner Frank Hughes announces the answers and the names of the three winning teams. Although the game starts at 9 p.m., the answers to the evening questions aren't announced until 11 p.m. The prizes that the winning teams collected in past events included cash, a round of drinks and movie tickets at AMC Mazza Gallerie in Friendship Heights.

Trivia Night At Garret's: Originally on Wednesday Nights, Garret's has moved its Trivia Nights to Tuesdays. In addition, The Miller Brewery Company is the new sponsor for the event. The contest begin at 8 p.m. Contestants can enjoy the 2.25 Miller Bear Trivia Night. You can sign up your team for the trivia game at the venue, and they welcome all teams to join the game in progress. I would recommend getting there early to get the good tables or seats.

Washington Irish RFC Trivia Nightat Solly's: If you thought playing rugby was tough a game, you try getting your friends together to compete with other bar patrons. The Washington Irish Rugby Football Club holds it's twice of month Trivia Night at Solly's U Street Tavern. Teams put their knowledge of news, sports, pop culture and more to good use in order outwit, outlast, and outdo their competition. The event starts at 8 p.m.

Sunday Trivia Night at Duffy's: A few blocks from the 930 club, Duffy's hold its Sunday Night Trivia Contest. Teams battle it out in game of wit and skills. The winning team gets a $50 gift certificate, while 2^nd and 3^rd places teams are rewarded with gift certificates of $30 or $20. If you're teammates are hungry, you can order popular dishes like The Irish Burrito, Shepherd's Pie, Fish & Chips, or the popular wings. The trivia contest starts at 7 p.m.
