Trivia Nights in Metro Detroit
Neighborhood: Metro Detroit
Detroit, MI 48206
United States of America
When I first experienced Trivia Night, it was while in Atlanta-hanging out with Mechele. He was weird, tho-but to stay on point here, Trivia Night was a fantastic way to keep your bar experience lasting a bit longer than expected. Even warranted. LOL. I want to share a bit of internal information on what Trivia Nights are all about: It's basically a team of nearly drunk, or already past drunk-drunks-LOL (no pun intended), answering seven rounds of ten questions. Did that come out right? Well, either way, there are ten questions for each round. It's really fun, tho. And the range of questions may be anywhere from sports to geography, to art and money; even a few television sitcoms and music.

In some facilities, you can win cash prizes, receive sponsored gift certificates and coupons. Now, that's a marvelous way to get some of that bar tab back. (smile)

But, I will and must sadly state-there aren't as many Trivia Nights in Detroit, Michigan as I figured it should be. Mainly in the metro area. And from what I've seen, many of the appearances of Trivia Nights are found in social clubs, conference halls, ballrooms and restaurants.

Even still, I still would like to share a few of those with you:

St. Frances offers a different type of Trivia Night. Trivia Night is for the youth, and offers children of all ages to spend time with other children their age. And who can beat the enrichment they'll share with the wealth of knowledge from being in a spiritual environment-Okay, I bet you guys are saying that you'll have at least an hour of 'no children' time! That, too. LOL. Okay, enough fun and games-back to the Trivia Nights held here in the Detroit area...Lastly, the The Jim Dandy Ski Club, located in the Lafayette area between Chateaufort Pl and Chestnut St, downtown Detroit is a private Social Club. It offers a vast variety of events and parties. And another private place to experience Trivia Nights in Detroit would be St. Frances Cabrini Parish in Allen Park, Michigan. If you are familiar with the Metro Detroit area, you'll know that Allen Park is a suburb of Detroit. British Commonwealth Club of Michigan, located at Dequindrequindre Rd, Warren, MI 48092 is very private, and only offers trivia in leagues.

But, there are a few grilles and pubs that hold the Trivia Nights in Detroit. Although, it's not a straight out bar or pub, The Shores Inn offers some fun. The Shores Inn is located in St. Claire Shores, Michigan; 23410 Greater Mack Ave, St Clair Shores, MI; a bit closer to the inner city, Malone's Tavern is a fabulous place to enjoy a good time with food, drinks and Trivia Night in Detroit, Michigan. It's located in Warren, on Van Dyke; and if you know like I know (resident), you know that Warren is considered as "across 8 Mile". LOL. And I cannot forget the fact that there are Trivia Nights held at any participating Buffalo Wild Wings. And this is one place you'll enjoy yourself completely! Anyone looking for a night of great food, friendly people and fun, fun, drinks, and fun-should definitely find the nearest one!
