True Blood Drinks for Halloween: True Bloody Mary

If you like the HBO series True Blood, why not serve vampire themed drinks at your Halloween party. Go with the classic vampire drink, the Bloody Mary. This guide will help you to make the perfect Bloody Mary. Go ahead and call it a True Bloody Mary this Halloween.

First, you need to decide if you want to make them alcoholic. Vodka is the liquor you will need to create your Halloween drinks. Any brand will do, so get what you like. If you prefer, leave out the vodka for a non-alcoholic version. Next, get some V-8 juice. I recommend the spicy variety, but again, get what you like. You could offer both at your party. After you have these two main ingredients, you will want to get the following for finishing touches: Worcestershire sauce and celery stalks.

To make a single True Bloody Mary, mix one ounce Vodka with three ounces of V-8. Next, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce and mix them together. Use the three to one ratio, V-8 to vodka, if you are making large quantities. Be sure to add a splash of Worcestershire for each ounce of vodka. Once your beverage is finished, you can insert a celery stalk. For the final finishing touch, place a pair of cheap plastic vampire teeth around the celery and over the lip of the glass. Ta-dah! You now have a True Bloody Mary. Happy Halloween!
