True Blood Rolling Stone Cover Typically Graphic

A True Blood Rolling Stone cover would have to be racy. But the True Blood Rolling Stone cover image takes the cake, even for True Blood and Rolling Stone. The scorching hot HBO series is in the second half of its third season, and is pushing the envelope with sex, blood and nudity more than ever. All of that and more is presented on their latest cover story, with the three leads baring all. Of course, the True Blood Rolling Stone cover couldn't have Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard completely uncovered.

When the image was leaked to the Internet today, fans were left with a lot to ogle at - and be a little disgusted at, just like with the show. On the plus side, Paquin, Moyer and Skarsgard have no clothes on, with part of Paquin and Moyer's rear ends exposed. However, they are barely visible underneath all the blood spattered on the stars.

This kind of True Blood Rolling Stone cover is technically the most fitting image for the series. However, the series generally doesn't unveil such sexy/gory madness until night time, and such material isn't usually shown on newsstands.

The True Blood Rolling Stone cover isn't shocking for its nudity, as the magazine has displayed several people naked over the decades. They've never been covered with fake blood before, however, and often not in these kinds of sexual positions. But all of this has made the series an increasingly huge hit in the first place.

Somewhere following the True Blood Rolling Stone cover, there is an actual article where the star trio gets to speak. Of course, the article is called "The Joy of Vampire Sex" with creator Alan Ball discussing vampires' sexuality. Fellow vampire phenomenon Twilight is notoriously conservative when it comes to sex, but clearly, anything goes in Bon Temps.

The show hardly needed any more publicity, yet the hype machine is ramping up again, with just three episodes left in Season 3. The sex, supernatural mystery, and all around craziness has just gotten bigger this year, along with fan devotion. This week's True Blood Rolling Stone cover and issue will keep fans busy until Sunday's episode, although the countdown to Merlotte's latest closing time is getting closer.

The issue will hit newsstands on Friday, although the True Blood Rolling Stone cover image is already spoiled, and controversial. The show itself airs each Sunday at 9 pm est, until the Season 3 finale on September 12.
