Frenzy
It's getting close but we're not there yet. There are so many loose ends to be tied that I don't know what the season finale will be.
Sookie is at Lafayette house and keeping Tara captive for her own good. Tara wants to rescue Eggs from Maryann. In the book her relationship with Eggs last until the end of the book. This season has been such a surprise that I can't wait to see how they do the next book.
Sookie and Lafayette make it back to her house only to find it a wreck. Her house has blood everywhere and a woman cut off her finger for the god. The coroner grabs Sookie's leg and has her lay on the filthy floor with him. She bangs him on the head later after getting on top of with the suggestion of sex.
Jason is hilarious in his stupidity along with Andy; they think they are the only ones left to help Bon Temps. Jason is dressed. Andy and Jason go to the sheriff's station to get guns and ammunition. He needs to save the town to redeem himself of the fiasco with the Fellowship of the Sun.
Bill is spending time with the Queen of Louisiana. She knows about Sookie. In the book it's Bill who informs the queen of her abilities but here I think it's our favorite Northman. Bill is lounging by the pool with the queen with a line of blood donors waiting to be called up. The queen tells Bill in her own fashion about the maenad while playing yahtzee. Dionysus must appear for the maenad to die through a ritual. Bill has a plan and Sam is involved, we'll see next week or the finale. Will the god appear to smite Maryann?
Sam goes to Eric for help but you know he only helps when there is a deal to be made. Eric is such an opportunist. Eric goes to the queen's place only to find Bill there. Bill is much more forceful and not afraid of Eric than in the book.
Tara persuades her mother to let her go. Tara's mother holds a rifle to Lafayette and terrifies him that he thinks he sees Eric dressed like the woman. Eric looks good in a dress. Lafayette's terror undermines his ability to help Sookie confront Maryann. He gets turned by her later on in the episode after his tries to shoot her only to have it ricochet to kill Karl, her servant.
Tara goes back to get Eggs only to find out that she was the one who summoned Maryann. Last season she went into the woods to get rid of her anger and hate through a voodoo woman who we find out was a fake. The ritual had power and the child Tara ritualistically killed was really the maenad. Maryann hits Tara in the face and she under the power.
We meet Arlene's children who are at Merlotte's looking for their mother. They have seen her with her black eyes and kissing Terry Bellefeur. Sam makes them sandwiches and takes them along to Fangtasia waiting for Eric. I'm surprised there aren't more kids wandering around with all the adult acting crazy.
Jessica has bitten Hoyt's mother trying to defend his honor only it's his mom. Hoyt leaves Jessica at Bill's and takes his mother home. One can't say or do anything against another's mother, it's downright rude. That relationship has come to an end.
