This latest episode of "True Blood" begins with Russell dragging Sookie into his mansion. Both Lorena and Eric are there and one of Russell's vampire guards has Bill in tow. Russell tells Lorena that Bill has proven himself unworthy of their trust. Bill grabs a piece of furniture, breaks a leg off and stakes the guard then leaps on Russell. Russell throws him off and laughs. Sookie tries to go to Bill but Eric intervenes and Bill urges Eric to get Sookie out of there. Eric takes Sookie's arm and pulls her to Russell telling him that he shouldn't let go of "this" because it is quite valuable.

Sookie is angry and Eric continues to taunt and mock Sookie to Russell. Talbot is angry about the damages done to the mansion by the scuffle with Bill. Lorena wants to know what is supposed to happen to Bill. Russell orders him to be killed and both Lorena and Sookie protest. Sookie warns Lorena not to touch Bill and swears she will kill Lorena if she harms Bill. Lorena tells Sookie that she will wear her ribcage as a hat. Sookie asks Eric to tell her he was talking nasty to her for the benefit of the King. Eric replies that no one plays the King before telling her he needs to think and she needs to shut up.

At Merlotte's, Arlene is getting frustrated with a difficult customer. Lafayette and Jesus are playing pool and Jessica is moping at the bar. After giving Lafayette the customer's order Arlene cuts her finger and Jessica reacts to the blood by showing her fangs. Arlene freaks out and begs Jessica not to kill her because she is pregnant then cries "That probably makes you want to eat me even more!" before running away.

In the woods, Jason and Crystal are making out. Jason comments about how warm she is and things heat up. After an emotional moment, Crystal begins to cry. After more kissing Crystal hears - and smells something and is spooked. She tells Jason she has to leave and he has to forget about her.

Sookie asks Eric if his words about caring for her was crap while he paces. He says he never told her he cared about her. She taunts him with her words and he tells her he is very close to getting something he wanted from when he was still human. She tells him she hates his guts. Russell returns and tells Eric to leave then he begins to question Sookie. He is running out of patience.

Arlene and Jessica are waiting for the hateful customer to leave. Arlene wonders where Lafayette and Jesus have went and Jessica tells her they've gone home. Arlene is upset about not getting any tips and worried about being around Jessica. Jessica tells her she will take care of the whiny lady - she glamours her, telling her she is no longer hungry and must leave all of her money on the table then go to the ladies room - where Jessica is waiting to feed. Arlene counts her tip then walks to the ladies room where she hears noises. The picky customer comes out with a scarf around her neck and a smile on her face. She is very pale. Jessica greets Arlene and has rosy cheeks.

Lafayette and Jesus sit in Lafayette's car discussing their backgrounds. Jesus tells him he doesn't know his father - his mother was raped. They talk more and joke then Jesus asks if he can kiss him. Jesus tells Lafayette he has a rule - no sex on the first date and after some more talk they kiss.

Russell is stoking the fire in the fireplace and Sookie wonders if it isn't a little warm for a fire. Russell makes a point with the hot poker and then wants to question Sookie. She tells him she has questions too and will answer his questions if he'll answer hers. Sookie asks if he is the King of all vampires. Russell wants to know what she is and if she is human. Sookie's next question is if Lorena will kill Bill. Russell says that Lorena will have a hard time letting Bill go but she will do what she is told. Russell wonders if Sookie knows that Bill had been keeping a file on her and her family. His next question is about the light force that comes out of her hands. Sookie doesn't know what she is and she doesn't know what her powers are. She tells Russell about the time she threw a chain and it wrapped around someone's neck on its own.

Lorena plays a record and muses about missing the 1930s to Bill - who is tied up. She peruses an assortment of torture tools. She wants to make him suffer. She cuts his chest deeply with a scalpel and Bill begs her to kill him quickly. She cuts her finger and puts her blood into his wound. He tells her he would have liked to have known her before she became a vampire - before she became hard. She cries bloody tears then slashes at his face with the scalpel.

Tara is tied up when Franklin comes back - wearing silt pajamas. She smiles and asks where he has been and he responds with anger - that he won't be told what to do. He tells her Sookie is there and his work for Russell is done. She smiles seductively and kisses him, whispering "Untie me, two hands are better than one." He unties her and she kisses him and tells him she wants to drink his blood. She bites his neck and he is euphoric.

Talbot and Eric play cards in the dining room. A guard takes Sookie upstairs and Russell asks Eric to accompany him. Talbot storms out shouting "You never take me anywhere!" Russell tells Eric they are going to see an old friend of his. Upstairs the guard is manhandling Sookie into a bedroom. She is protesting loudly as she is thrown in and locked inside. She screams for Bill and cries. She hears Tara's thoughts - telling her not to give up that she plans to get both of them out of there once the sun comes up.

Tara, covered in Franklin's blood, lies on the bed with Franklin as he tells her that she will have no more pain or rules once she becomes a vampire.

In Russell's limo, the King asks Eric what his relationship with Sookie is. Eric tells him that there is no personal attachment but Russell is unconvinced - noting that Sookie is quite delectable. Russell questions Eric about killing a werewolf. Eric questions Russell's fondness for the werewolves and Russell explains that he gives them blood and uses them - even though they are "stupider than dogs." Russell goes on to talk about how he has used werewolves for many, many years. Russell quips that Adolph was right - there is a master race, just not the human race.

Lafayette brings Jesus back to his place. Jesus notices Lafayette's shrine of religious statues and Jesus wonders if he makes offerings to them. They kiss and then hear something going on outside. It is a group of rednecks bashing the windows on his car with an aluminum baseball bat. Jesus grabs the bat and two of the men run away. Lafayette begins punching the bat wielder and Jesus hears him talking about selling drugs. Jesus questions him and at his admission, he insists that Lafayette take him back to his car.

The Queen of Louisiana, Sophie Ann is scratching off lottery tickets on the floor of her mansion next to her swimming pool. She is surprised by Russell behind her - he is there to "woo her" and give her a proposal of marriage. He will settle her debts if she agrees. Eric grabs Sophie Ann and tells her he renounces allegiance to her because she tried to frame him for selling V. He threatens to rip her head off and throw it into the pool but Russell stops him. Russell wants to know Sophie Anne's answer and she begrudgingly agrees. Eric picks up the Queen and takes her away to restrain her as she calls for her girlfriend, Hadley (Sookie's cousin).

Bill is covered in blood from Lorena's torture. She licks his blood off of her knife and she taunts him with memories of their kills. She cries and then the door opens - it is Coot and Debbie - they want to feed on Bill's blood. Lorena tells them to take all of his blood. Coot kicks Bill and then the two feed on his blood as Lorena cries.

Tommy Mickens watches the news as legislation regarding vampires is discussed. He thanks Sam for letting him stay there and Sam wants to know what is going on between him and Joe Lee. Sam wonders if their father is the one who left all the scars on Tommy's body but Tommy insists he's never touched him. Sam insists they are going to talk about the issue then there is a knock at the door. It is Melinda bringing some food. She wonders when Sam is going to call her Mom and then she wants to have a talk with Tommy. Sam leaves and Melinda becomes angry with Tommy. She begins to tell him that he needs to come back and do what Joe Lee wants. They talk about "the truth" and what they have to do and Tommy is visibly swayed, and feels guilty.

Tara slips from Franklin's bed and grabs a medieval weapon from the wall. She begins bashing Franklin's head with a mace and things become very bloody. She grabs her things and runs out of the door.

In Hotshot, Jason comes bearing flowers, looking for Crystal. He knocks on a door and is greeted by the man who was beaten by Lafayette. The man calls for her "Babe, there's somebody here to see you." Crystal comes to the door and insists she doesn't know Jason and that she and her fiance want to be left alone. Jason leaves.

Tara has a plan. She is posing as a servant and goes to Sookie's room. The werewolf guard lets her in and together with Sookie, the two of them beat the guard and run out of the room.

Lafayette is in a foul mood as he is working the grill at Merlotte's. He snaps at Arlene. Sam asks Arlene if she has seen Tommy. She tells him no and then she asks why his folks are allowed to have a dog at the apartment they rent from him when her kids aren't allowed to have a hamster. She says she saw Joe Lee and Melinda load a mean-looking pit bull into their van that morning and drive away. Sam hurries from her and she wonders why everyone is ignoring her.

Sam runs to his trailer calling for Tommy but can't find him.

Tara and Sookie are trying to get out of the mansion and Sookie wants to save Bill. Tara tells her he refused to help her and she doesn't want to help him. They argue and head outside.

Sam has called Andy to ask about dog fighting in the area. Andy tells him where he's heard of a dog fighting ring going on nearby and Sam jumps into his car, grabs his gun from the glove box then speeds away, almost running Jason off the road.

Jason yells then notices a red Mustang parked nearby. It is the high school quarterback he had words with earlier and the teenager is bumping uglies with his girlfriend in the car. Jason approaches the car and slaps the boy on the bare butt, telling him to get out of the vehicle. After the boy gets out of the car, Jason grabs his arm and pushes him against the trunk of the car. He uses his typical Jason confusion speak.

Sookie is at the building where Bill is being held. Debbie and Coot run out, high on Bill's blood and talking to each other like idiots. Sookie shakes her head and waits for them to run off.

In the woods, Tara is trying to escape when she runs into a large white wolf. She runs and suddenly, it is a naked Alcide chasing her - telling her he isn't trying to hurt her, he is looking for Sookie. She asks if he has a car and he tells her yes.

Sookie finds Bill near death inside his torture chamber. She tells him she loves him and will never let him go. Lorena is behind her. She grabs Sookie, throwing her against the wall then just as quickly she is holding Sookie, biting her in the neck as Sookie screams.
