The latest episode of "True Blood" aired on August 15. It begins with a bloody Eric rushing into Fangtasia. He startles Pam as he tells her that he needs to find a place to hide from Russell. Vampire authorities are already there in the bar and vampire leader Nan Flanagan orders vampires guards to "silver" Eric.

At the King's mansion, Russell rushes in, calling "where is he?" He is looking for Talbot. He finds a gory mess that used to be Talbot on the floor of his study. He is stricken with grief and notices the Viking crown is missing.

Sookie is taking a shower and washing blood from her body when Bill joins her. After the shower, Sookie walks into her living room and notices a dead, naked werewolf on her floor. She tells Bill to go get a tarp. They wrap the body up for disposal and discuss their relationship. Sookie asks Bill why he has a secret file about her. He tells her that he was trying to discover why Eric is so interested in her. Sookie asks if he knows what she is, but he tells her no.

Lafayette and Jesus share a drink as Lafayette muses that he would normally be coming up with a reason to get him out of his house. Instead, Lafayette wants Jesus to stay. Lafayette admires the jaguar tattoo that Jesus has.

Jason comes home and finds Felton screaming at Crystal. She has told Felton that Jason kidnapped and raped her. Felton and Jason fight and Crystal grabs the gun that Felton managed to get away from Jason. She hits Felton and tells Jason to bring rope - not handcuffs because Felton can escape handcuffs.

At Fangtasia, Nan has determined that the basement has been wiped clean. She wants an official statement from Eric regarding the disappearance of the Magister. She begins questioning him while the vampire authorities watch via remote cameras.

Tara is at Sam's and is crying while he fixes her a drink. Sam suggests she should go to a shrink but she is adamant that she won't go. Sam gets a phone call - it is Terry complaining about loud noises coming from Tommy's place. Sam leaves Tara to go check it out. While he's gone, Tara opens his laptop.

Eric tells Nan and the vampire authority about tracking a vampire who controls wolves. He names Russell and tells the vampire authority that Russell wants to keep the humans in bondage and continue to feed upon them. He explains that his family was massacred 1000 years ago by wolves and the wolves he has found now are the same. He states that he did not report Russell to the vampire authority because he wants him to die at his own hands. Nan is unconvinced since Russell just made a generous donation to the Vampire League. She informs Eric that he and Pam are on lockdown at the bar.

Sam finds Tommy naked with a drug-high woman. Tommy is not interested in listening to Sam but Sam tells him he has to keep the noise down.

Crystal finishes tying up an unconscious Felton to a tree. Jason disguises his voice and calls the police to report that a man is tied to a tree with a bag of V blood in his pocket.

Jesus is leaving the next morning with Ruby Jean in tow. She muses that she sees Lafayette without his "mask" on and wonders if Jesus did this. Lafayette agrees that may be the case.

Jason brings Crystal into the police station to find the receptionist, Rosie, crying hysterically. She is crying over the deputy Kevin who answered a call about a man tied to a tree. Kevin was attacked and hurt badly while checking out the call. Jason tells Andy he has a theory about who jumped the Deputy - he explains that he's heard a rumor that people in Hotshot are also dealing V. After Jason leaves, Andy opens his desk drawer and looks at a bag of vampire blood.

Tara walks into a church to find a group of women waiting. It is a rape survival support group. She finds the new Merlotte's waitress, Holly, there and listens to her story. Tears stream down Tara's face as she listens.

Sookie looks through a scrapbook in her living room. She is reading old news clippings about her family. Her phone rings - it is her cousin Hadley. She wants Sookie to meet her at a local aquarium. Sookie meets her and discovers that Hadley has kidnapped her son from daycare after not seeing him for over a year. Hadley tells Sookie that the vampires are very interested in Sookie and what she can do. Hadley introduces Sookie to her young son, Hunter. She wonders if Hunter is a telepath like Sookie. Sookie discovers that indeed he is and Hadley becomes frightened, grabs Hunter and runs.

At Merlotte's, Arlene is irate that she has been shorted on a tip and she believes that Tommy has taken part of the tip. Holly tries to give her a pep talk. Arlene tells Holly that her baby isn't Terry's baby and the baby's daddy (Rene) was pure evil. She cries as she worries that Terry is going to find out. Holly asks her if she wants this baby and Arlene admits that no, she doesn't. Arlene won't consider an abortion and Holly tells her there are other ways to resolve her situation.

Bill is asleep in the crawlspace under his house when water drips through the floor and awakens him. He opens the trapdoor to a beautiful and magical world where he is in the sunlight and walks on water. He meets Claudine and she wonders if Bill killed Sookie. She runs and Bill gives chase, then tries to bite her. She pushes him away with a light that comes from her hand. Bill asks Claudine what she is.

Pam awakens to find Eric brooding at his desk. Eric realizes that he is a good scapegoat for the death of the Magister. Pam wonders why Eric never said anything about his family to her. Eric gives her instructions about what to do if he meets his final death - he tells her she must make a new vampire and she cries.

Jessica is ready for her shift at Merlotte's but she sees Hoyt with his new girlfriend. Jessica is upset and when Hoyt tries to introduce her to Summer, Jessica can't keep her fangs from showing.

Jason and Crystal are sitting in a booth and Crystal is worried that a cousin saw her at the police station. She becomes upset when Jason tells her that the police will be going to Hotshot to round everyone up in a drug bust.

Tara questions Lafayette about his "thing" with Jesus. She is concerned that it will blow up in his face but she is happy for him.

Summer goes to the bathroom, leaving Hoyt to guard the dolls she has brought with her. Jessica comes up and apologizes for her behavior earlier. She wonders if Summer makes him happy and he says that he hates her. Jessica wonders why he is with her and he tells her it "beats sitting around thinking about you." She begins crying and rushes away.

Russell is watching over the parking lot at Fangtasia. He has a glass container of Talbot's remains and watches at Nan Flanagan enters the bar. Russell talks to Talbot's remains and vows revenge against Eric. Nan has brought the ruling from the vampire league - they disavow any knowledge of anything Eric does or says about Russell but they give Eric the green light to kill Russell without involving them.

Calvin Norris comes to Merlotte's looking for Crystal. He is angry and accuses her of selling out her people. Sam becomes argumentative with him and finally hits him with a glass and begins beating him. Crystal tries to stop him and he pushes her away. He is in a rage and pummels Felton while everyone watches. Tommy only smiles at Sam. Lafayette and Jesus get Felton into a Suburban with Tara's help to take him to the hospital. Crystal runs out to go with them and Jason tries to stop her. She tells him off and jumps in the truck as Tara watches. Without warning, someone grabs Tara from behind - it is Franklin, alive and well. Tara is terrified as she looks at Franklin. He wonders why she tried to kill him and why she didn't mourn him, but he loves her so much. She taunts him to kill her so she can finally be free of him forever. Jason shows up and trains a shotgun on Franklin, ordering him to get away from Tara. Franklin mocks him and tells him that he will only heal if he is shot. Jason pulls the trigger and Franklin erupts into a pile of bloody gore. Jason simply states "Not if I got wooden bullets."

There is a knock at Sookie's door - it is Bill. Bill tries to explain why he is late but Sookie wants to talk about the Queen and the fact that everyone is after her. Bill says that he thinks he knows why they are after her because he knows what she is.

Nan Flanagan is in a limo with a naked woman whom she begins to feed on. She has the news on and is listening to the anchor talk about the Vampire Rights Amendment. Suddenly, Russell is behind the man, ripping his spine out and Nan looks up from her meal in horror. Russell has plenty to say about the equality of vampires and humans - "We are nothing like you, we are immortal because we drink the true blood - blood that is living, organic and human." He licks blood from his hand. "Mine is the true face of vampires - why would we seek equal rights? You are not our equals. We will eat you, after we eat your children. Now time for the weather, Tiffany?"
