True Blood Trouble: Let's Hear it for the True Blood Boys

There was Nothing but Trouble on True Blood Last Night

Mary Zeiher
True Blood Trouble last night was all about the True Blood bad boys of Mississippi and Louisiana and how they get into trouble. From Eric - the True Blood Viking, Bill, psychotic Franklin, Jason, Russell, Sam the dog, Joe Lee, Tommy, Alcide, Lafayette and Jesus, True Blood was a boys night of trouble spent mostly at Russell's house.

Let us start with a True Blood favorite and that is currently Franklin, pscho-vampire and he is definitely trouble. Watching Franklin is delightful. When he is speaking with Russell the vampire king about finances Russell tells him, "The last time you had any real money, you ended up at the slots in Biloxi, slaughtering a church group of elderly women." To which Franklin replies like a petulant child, "They wouldn't let me have a turn!"

And Franklin's dysfunctional True Blood trouble continues as he demonstrates vampire speed-texting for Tara, now that's a unique way to court a girl. Later he decides to tell her that she is to be his vampire bride. A True Blood pair just made for each other, aren't they?

Eric joined the True Blood trouble at Russell's house and the flirting between Eric and the King's boy-toy was wonderful to watch as they eyed each other like a candy store. Then Viking Eric arrived on the scene when he found his murdered father's crown in the King's house. Eric realizes that the King and his pack of werewolves killed his family. That should make for some good True Blood fun yet to come.

Meanwhile in Bon Temps, Jesus comes to see Lafayette and the sparks are flying with these two! They eventually play a little pool later, but I have a feeling that Lafayette and Jesus are going to supply us with some great True Blood love.

Jason is in his own shirtless, mindless True Blood way courting a girl names Crystal that we saw in a prior episode. Something big-time is up with her but Jason is already smitten and there is some lovin' happening out by the pond in Bon Temps.

Also in Bon Temps, Sam is dealing with serious family issues as he moves his dysfunctional clan into his rental property. I hope he got a deposit. Meanwhile Terry is moving in with the pregnant Arlene, this just won't turn out well, just know it, lots of True Blood trouble there. Oh and Hoyt showed up at Merlotte's with a new chick, that did not go over well with Jessica. But perhaps there is a True Blood storyline for Tommy and Jessica yet to come.

Bill had a great True blood moment when werewolf Cooter, love that name, told him that Sookie was all partnered-up with Alcide. Bill went all vamp-freak-out on Cooter. It was awesome. But that gets Bill to go to Sookie and we were all hoping for a good sex-filled reunion, instead all he did was tell her in that Bill-way she had to go. Then Russell shows up with his wolves and fighting ensues that results in Sookie glow-worming one of the wolves in front of the King.

It was nothing but 'Trouble' on True Blood last night.
