Stars of the hit HBO series "True Blood," 28-year old Anna Paquin and 40-year old Stephen Moyer were married in a private residence, Saturday night, sharing their vows in a sunset ceremony where they were surrounded by family, friends and fellow co-stars from the show. In addition to other cast members of "True Blood," also present were actors Elijah Wood and Michael Emerson, from "Lost."

Friends came bearing gifts wrapped in purple paper and tied with purple bows and the reception was held across the street at a cozy beach house. The wedding came, following a year-long engagement, after the two met and fell in love on the set of "True Blood." Paquin and Moyer play the main roles of telepath, Sookie Stackhouse and vampire, Bill Compton. Anna Paquin (who plays Sookie Stackhouse) is a Canadian-born New Zealand actress, who won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1994, for her part in the critically-acclaimed movie "The Piano." She was only 11 years old at the time, making her the second youngest winner in history. In addition to her role in "The Piano," she has appeared in several popular films, including playing the beautiful and tragic "X-men" role of Rogue in the popular cinematic trilogy.

"True Blood" is created and produced by Alan Ball, who also brought "Six Feet Under" to HBO. The series is based on "The Southern Vampire Mysteries" novels, written by Charlaine Harris. It's an addictive show that breaks the molds of traditional vampire tales and draws one into the dark romance of this small Louisiana town, the locals and the fangbangers that populate it.
