When we left this True Blood fun last week, the minions thought they had succeeded in their mission to pay homage to the Maryann god by handing over Sam. But alas, it was not a god but just Jason Stackhouse, in one of the best True Blood scenes ever. Jason was wearing a respirator, welding gloves, shirtless (of course), and standing in the back of his pickup with flares in each hand. Meanwhile Andy provided the god-like horns by use of a bayou tree branch held behind Jason's head.
It worked as soon as Sam, in True Blood fashion, went from human to 'fly form' and the black-eyed town folks went to celebrate their victory and debrief Maryann. At the same time across town the True Blood intervention with Tara finally took a turn once Sookie and Bill grouped their special powers to suck the black eyes out of Tara.
Our True Blood status is this: Tara is finally back and Lafayette is pissed this happened to his sister, Sookie is in town with her mystery powers, Bill is on his way to see the bisexual Vampire Queen, Sam is alive and ready for battle, Jason and Andy are now a totally unexpected team.
But the True Blood town still has to be saved. Will Eric, that tall gorgeous blond vampire, be the Bon Temps savior? Even better could we please see him again tonight without a shirt, sorry I digress. But Eric is such a nice distraction. While Eric might be saving the town will we finally see Eric and Sookie really together and not just a Sookie dream sequence?
There is still the True Blood young, ever-virgin, vampire Jessica and her lover Hoyt who are doing battle with Hoyt's overbearing Mom. Last we knew Jessica was sucking mommy dearest and threatening to drain her dry. I personally would have done the same thing being trapped in a house with that much mommy dysfunction. Will Hoyt and Jessica play a role in saving the True Blood town of Bon Temps?
There are True Blood rumors of Sam and Eric teaming together to try to save Bon Temps and remove Maryann. I can't wait to see how that conversation will take place. How will Bill feel once he knows that Eric is back in the picture again while he is off seeing the vamp queen?
Speaking of feelings, it also seems that Tara has very real feelings for Eggs and she wants to go and save him from Maryann too. Everyone on True Blood has a reason for saving the town and the people that they love. Will the True Blood disparate group of human and vampire heroes somehow band together to save the town? I think this is how it will play out.
Make sure the cell phones are turned off and the DVRs are turned on to see True Blood tonight in just a few hours. Enjoy tonight and the True Blood fun, but remember that the finale isn't for another two weeks on September 13th.

Post a CommentDear readers: As a connoisseur of Ture Blood, I enjoy writing about it immensely. So I am deeply embarassed tht I posted this incorrect relationship between Lafayette and Tara. No excuses, but an unforgivable mistake.
Tara is Lafayette's cousin, not sister.
Correction - I believe Layfayette is Tara's cousin , not her brother
