"A friend is a gift you give yourself."
~ Robert Louis Stevenson

True friendship pivots on sharing - Listening
In true friendship it is always one who listens is the better friend. It is human attitude that other should listen to him, when such feeling is with you, then; your friend too must be having same thinking. So, give time to your friend and understand his needs and emotional feelings. Be a patience listener to your friend's problem helps in development of understanding and trust.

True friendship pivots on sharing - Communication
In order to have true friendship line of communication has to be always kept open. Sharing each other problems and having honest communications in long run helps in mutual trust and admiration for each other. In true friendships both look forward for honest opinion and advice, so line of communication has to be kept open. But point of caution is never breach the trust and never ever spread each other business.

True friendship pivots on sharing - Two way
A true friendship always pivots on sharing. On sharing each other happiness and sorrow will develop firm faith on each other. This sharing has to be two ways it has to be a partnership where both contribute equally. A good friendship is both give and take. If you only take and never give, the true friendship will wither and fall apart.

True friendship pivots on sharing - All the times
On sharing each other tribulations help in long and true friendships. You can't be a fair weather friend. But you should share your friend in all times good or bad. This determines the true character of a true friend. Friend in need is friend indeed.

True friendship pivots on sharing - Sharing time

Building friendship takes time and honest determination to make true friendship last. Take a few minutes from your busy schedule to call your friend and say: "hello" in his/her special moments.

True friendship pivots on sharing - Sharing your life with your friend

Stronger bonds are built when both people share the little things that are going on in their lives. Pay attention to your friends without conclusion and take the time to talk about what is going on in your life as well. Be the kind of friend that keeps confidences and provides a lending hand.

"Be slow to fall into friendship, but when thou art in, continue firm and constant" - Socrates

"Friendship is like a bank account;
you cannot continue to draw on it
without making a deposit."
~ Nicole Beale

"When you ask God for a gift,
Be thankful if he sends,
Not diamonds, pearls or riches,
but the love of real true friends."
~Helen Steiner Rice

Therefore, sharing helps in building true friendship. Always share small or big things between friends.
