True Halloween Poem

Enjoy Your Candy

Autism-Dad-1
The trick or treating
Candy of all kinds
People are feasting
The growth in behinds
Laughter and Screaming

Creatures of all kinds
More nightmares than dreaming
What becomes of the evening?
Depends on the intentions
Having fun or being frightening

Scary are the people's inventions
When it's all said and done
And the children are sleeping
The creepiness has just begun
Adults do their drinking

Ghosts do their haunting
Parent's tasks are daunting
The alarm starts a beeping
And another day is coming.
Halloween is gone for now.
