TrueBlood - Bon Temps Has Gone Batty

The whole town of Bon Temps has gone stark raving bat s&*^t and their only hope for salvation rests on two red-neck dipsticks (Andy Bellefluer and Jason Stackhouse) and two peacock posturing vampires! (Bill and Eric) But by God, those lunatic townsfolk are Americans "and that used to mean something!" I loved when Jason and Andy said that one.

Who'll kill Maryann? Can she even be killed? That remains to be seen in the season finale slated for September 13th. We'll have to suck it up and wait it out to see if Sam gets sacrificed to the God Who Comes (who, apparently, is going to hatch from a giant, pteradactyl egg).

Now that Maryann has her hooks into Lafayette, will her menu improve? And will Eric manage to upstage Bill to gain Sookie's attention? From what the teaser shows, we won't get to see Eric and Sookie rub up against each other in the finale. But there's time for that later! She still hasn't discovered the true reason Bill came to Bon Temps in the first place. One wonders how she'll react when she finally hears the truth.

And what about that freakish white light that flew out of Sookie's hand? Could she be two-natured? Or is it some other form of supernatural power? It may be the source of the unnatural attraction these vampires seem to have for her. If Maryann discovers that secret first, it may not be Sam on the alter at all; it may just be Sookie!

Stay tuned friends. We're almost there; sitting upon the precipice that will leave us all hanging until the premier of season 3. And we just love it!
