Try a Home Remedy for Your Earache

Clara Caldwell
With millions of Americans out of work and without medical insurance, it is important to utilize resources readily available to stay healthy. Ear ache is a common complaint that can send people rushing to their doctor. With the poor economy hitting the pocketbook hard, quick trips to the doctor may not be feasible. This is the time to look around the house for natural cures.
Using a heating pad or water bottle on the hurting ear is an old time remedy. Heating sweet oil, peppermint oil or olive oil and dropping it into the ear is suggested.
Putting your hairdryer on low and blowing warm air into the ear can sooth it. Some old timers suggest blowing warm cigarette smoke into the year.
Another strange sounding remedy is to put urine in the year. It is suggested that dipping a Q-tip in urine and then placing it into the ear for a few seconds will not just relieve the pain but cure the earache.
These are just a few ideas to try at home before spending the money on doctors and medication. Hope this helps.
