JOPLIN, Mo. '" Ken Cochran and Van Greenwood have banned together to form Joplin Way T-Shirt sales to benefit the Joplin, Mo. Red Cross.

Proceeds go to the American Red Cross and will be earmarked for the Joplin Disaster Relief Fund.

The city of Joplin was devastated by an EF5 tornado on May 22.

As of June 7, 145 people have been reported killed or died as a result of injuries sustained in the storm, making it the seventh deadliest tornado on record.

Cochran, the inventor of the basketball warm up game, popashot, and his family are selling the T-shirts in Joplin at the intersection of 7th Street and Murphy across from West Central Grade School.

The group is there daily from 9:30 a.m. until sundown.

The shirts are white with blue lettering.

On the front of the shirt are the words, Determination, Perseverance, Hard Work, The Joplin Way.

On the back, quitting is not an option, Joplin Tornado 2011 is written in bold blue lettering.

Employees of the Joplin Hampton Inn banded together today and wore the shirts to work.

For those that do not live in Joplin and can't make the trip, Cochran and Greenwood have set up a website where online orders can be processed.

For information on ordering shirts, call 586-907-6722 or 586-907-6708, or 586-907-6728.

Or log onto www.pop-a-shot.com

Shirts are $10.
