It is strongly recommended that you book the class in advance as some can fill up; you can sign up at the school or online. For your first class, in addition to the cost of the class, there is a $22.00 one time registration fee. You must pay up front for the class when you register. They accept credit cards as well as payment through PayPal.
Whether you are a beginner who has never done it before or someone who is advanced, there are class options for you. There are certain classes at specific times that are not recommended for beginners so it is important to check first the information first. There are also options for parties and events if you want to get involved in something larger. Class packages and discounts are available for those that will be attending more than one class.
At Trapeze School New York, there are a variety of classes available including Flying Trapeze, Silks & Rope, Trampoline, Static Trapeze & Lyra, Balancing & Acrobatics and Aerial Conditioning. The length of the class varies depending on the type of class. The Flying Trapeze class, which is offered indoors and outdoors, is a two hour long class. For the Silks & Rope, Static Trapeze, and Lyra classes, the length of time ranges from an hour to two hours depending on how many students attend the class. The Trampoline class is 90 minutes, but if less than three students enroll the length of the class drops to an hour.
TSNY Trapeze School New York has two locations in Manhattan. The outdoor location is in Hudson River Park is open from May through October and the indoor facility, which is open year round, is located in Midtown on West 30th Street. The website will inform you of where the class is being held before you register.
