Tsunami

Lee Hartsell
A earthquake in divers places caused the wave to come.
Without any warning, few people had a chance to get ready.
One man had the conviction to pray on his knees at 3:30 am.
One man at an orphanage was able to get to his boat and load
his orphan children in it, before the wave demolished everything
in its path. Women and children were left without husbands and
fathers. Some children were left without parents. Wives watched
their husbands, as they washed out to sea. Sinks, cabinets, and
bath tubs all floated out to sea.
One woman held onto a tree until the wave passed. Her boyfriend
was washed out to sea. After the Tsunami, families waited for
food and water in despair. Their confusion was evident, as mothers
and children waited to see where they would live. The whole area
that had been populated had disappeared in an instatnt. From the
air it looked like a deserted oasis. The day before that it was a
town.
