Did you know that every Tuesday you can enjoy dinner at a restaurant in Downtown Grand Junction and get two free movie passes at the Avalon Theater for that evening? Just bring your dinner receipt to the Avalon Theater for your two free admissions.

The Avalon Theater is offering classic movies on Tuesday's and you'll find science fiction, comedy, drama, cartoons, and family classics offered in these time slots. There's something for everyone, so plan ahead and take the family out to dinner at a Downtown restaurant, then sit back and enjoy a classic movie free of charge!

For the month of March, here's the lineup of movies that will be playing on Tuesday's. If you don't have a dinner receipt, admission is $5 per person.

Tuesday, March 1: "Beavis and Butt-Head Do America." Show starts at 7:15 pm.

Tuesday, March 8: "Forbidden Planet." Show starts at 7:15 pm.

Tuesday, March 15: "The Muppet Movie." Show starts at 7:15 pm.

Tuesday, March 22: "Tombstone." Show starts at 7:15 pm.

Tuesday, March 29: "Inception." Show starts at 7:15 pm.

    I'm going to see whether I can get to Grand Junction for dinner and Tombstone, the movie. Nowhere else can the finest display of cowboy hats be seen. Not to mention the heart-throb cowboys who wear them!
