You can make a really nice plate of tuna cakes with only three ingredients and two dollars! We are all looking for quick, easy, and cheap dinner ideas. You will be amazed how good these are. Just don't tell anyone how easy they are to make, and they will think you went to a lot of trouble. You can put out a plate of these tuna cakes with some tartar sauce for a fast and delicious appetizer.

Ingredients:

1 Pouch of Albacore Tuna
1 Pouch of Idahoan Roasted Garlic and Parmesan Flavored Mashed Potatoes
Bread crumbs seasoned with salt and pepper
Oil for frying

1. Prepare the mashed potatoes according to the directions, only reduce the water to 1 1/2 cups.

2. Mix cooled mashed potatoes with the Albacore tuna.

3. Form patties and roll in the seasoned bread crumbs.

4. Fry in a skillet in a light layer of oil. Turn when they start to brown.

Remember there are no eggs in this tuna cake recipe, so you do not need to worry about undercooking. The ingredients are already cooked, so just fry them until you are pleased with the color. The inside will have the consistency of a potato cake.

Serve with tartar sauce.
