It looks like the convict doing life in prison for murder has more information than just about the shooting of Tupac back in 1994. He may hold the key to the rappers murder, as well as the murder of rapper Biggie.
The Tupac Shakur shooting that occurred in 1994 was not the shooting that killed the rapper, it was two years later that Tupac was shot again. This time it was a fatal shooting, leaving him dead. A man serving a life prison term for murder has confessed to the 1994 shooting. Dexter Isaac who is the convict making the confession, was originally a suspect in the shooting, according to Hollywood Life.
The story gets more involved, with the inmate saying that he was a paid to do this. The prisoner was hired by a hip-hop mogul to shoot and rob Tupac outside a Manhattan studio. The man accused of paying to have Tupac shot is Game's manager Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond, the founder of Czar Entertainment.
The convicted felon still has some of Tupac's jewelry from the robbery, according to his story. Tupac survived this hit-man type shooting only to be gunned down two years later in Las Vegas. The shooting that took Tupac's life remains unsolved.
Isaac had a change of heart, saying that he is tired of his long time friend Rosemond's lies. It was the eve of what would have been Tupac's 40th birthday that Isaac decided to come through with this confession. He also apologized to Tupac's family for the shooting which left Tupac shot five times.
"I want to apologize to his [Tupac's] family and for the mistake I did for that sucker [Rosemond]," Dexter said Wednesday, on the eve of Tupac's 40th birthday.
"In 1994, James Rosemond hired me to rob 2Pac Shakur at the Quad Studio," said Isaac, who is currently housed in Brooklyn, N.Y.'s Metropolitan Detention Center. "He gave me $2,500, plus all the jewelry I took, except for one ring, which he wanted for himself. It was the biggest of the two diamond rings that we took. He said he wanted to put the stone in a new setting for his girlfriend at the time, Cynthia Ried. I still have as proof the chain that we took that night in the robbery."
Isaac is going to come forth with information on Biggie's and 2Pac's death to give their mother's some closure. He said he will do this at another time. Rosemond, who manages big names like Mike Tyson, Sean Kingston and Game, is no where to be found. He is still on the lam, facing federal cocaine conspiracy charges. He has also been accused of being a government informant.
The Connecticut Post said this morning that according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website, a prisoner by the name Dexter Isaac is serving life in prison at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Tupac was big in Connecticut among the fans of rap music.
