Turbo Jam: Exercise DVD Review

Need a workout but don't know what do do? Well then you should try Turbo Jam. It is a jamming workout DVD that is divided into sections to helps you lose weight on certain parts of you body. The trainer that teaches you throughout the whole DVD is Chalene Johnson. Combining music, dancing and kickboxing, it is sure this will be one heck of a workout!

Turbo Jam is a really good workout DVD. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to do it cause I haven't work out for the longest time, but I was wrong! The workout DVD helps beginners like me and teaches me slowly through each exercise move. It is a good workout for anybody regardless of their size. When I first started the workout, I didn't really get in the groove like how the people in the DVD were. My body didn't feel ecstatic like theirs.

There's music in the DVD that is pretty catchy. You can feel the music and workout along with it. Chalene talks to you throughout the whole DVD, making you feel like you have your own personal trainer beside you. Each of the exercising moves were pretty easy. You have to keep your back straight and knees bent, tightening your ab area when you exercise. You can set your own level by lowering yourself when you exercise. The different sections of the DVD has very different timings. The sections would either be 20, 30, or 55 minutes long. The workout DVD even gives you a schedule full of weeks for you to do. It shows you which exercise section you should be doing on that day. There's also the 10 day start, where you either lose up to 10 pounds or 10 inches in 10 days. It gives you a 10 day menu, where you eat according to it. By the end of 10 days, you should be able to lose that much. I haven't tried that part out. By the end of the week, I was really getting into the workout because they were so much fun. It didn't felt like working out but dancing. I especially like Cardio Party. It is the most intense and fun section out of all the other workout sections.

When you workout, it goes by pretty quickly. I was amazed that Chalene didn't even look like she was tired throughout the whole DVD compare to her workers that was exercising with her in the background. And they all were professionals too. I have to say, you will sweat like crazy by the end of the DVD, so wear something loose to exercise in. I prefer tanks and shorts with a towel and water bottle. Exercise in an area with a lot of space also, because you will have to move around and kick a lot. Best workout DVD ever, compared to all the other ones out there. I have lost about two inches and a couple of pounds from it. I didn't workout everyday with the DVD also. Just like three times a week or whenever I'm free. So, this is my review on Turbo Jam and I think that it is a great workout for anyone young and old!
