TurfWar.com Wants You to Spread the Word

Ryan Lester
I wanted to pass some TurfWar.com info to you. For those who don't know, TurfWar.com is a fantasy football game where $25,000 is rewarded weekly. You get four free game credits when signing up, so you get to try for free. There are four different games you can play each week. You can choose from 1)All Games, 2) just the Early Games, 3) just the Afternoon Games, or 4) just the Sunday and Monday Night Games. The scoring is reset each week so if you didn't play last week or picked poorly the week before, you have a clean slate the next week. Here's a breakdown of the awards:

All Games
1st - $5,000
2nd - $2,000
3rd - $1,000
4th - $750
5th - $500
6th-10th - $150

Early Games, Afternoon Games, Sun & Mon Night Games
1st - $2,500
2nd - $1,000
3rd - $5,000
4th - $370
5th - $250
6th-10th - $75

You're also put in sub-groups of 10 that award 4 (All Games) & 2 (Early, Afternoon, Night Games) credits for a first place finish and 2 (AG) & 1 (E,A,NG) for a second place finish.

A friend of mine, Sporting News' own nsnmsna won $2500 earlier this year. Just to show you how good of a guy he is, he gave the money to a friend for medical bills. My brother-in-law won $500. Coincidentally, he used some of his for his own medical bills. You may know about all of this already, but what's new is the referral program TurfWar.com started. They have an easy-click button that allows you to e-mail invitations to your friends and family. You get a free credit with each member that registers. What's better yet is that if they take home any prize money, you get a bonus of 20% of what they won. So if they finish 2nd overall in the Early Games they win $1000, you get $200 for referring them. It's not just this week either. It's for as long as you both are TurfWar members. So if they win some money next year, you're still entitled to your 20% bonus. So, I urge you to hop over to TurfWar.com and register, if you haven't already, and start referring friends. Make them work for you. I wish they had this in place earlier. I'd be $600 richer. Better late than never though.
