Turkey Almond Quiche Complete Holiday Dinner

You can impress your friends and family with this simple Christmas day or New Year's Eve Dinner for four. You do need to do a few things the night before and marinade your salad and carrot side dishes at least two hours before cooking. The dinner still looks more impressive than the actual amount of work put into its preparation.

Turkey Almond Quiche

1- 8 oz. package of regular softened cream cheese

1 ½ cup of whole milk

2 eggs

½ cup of toasted and chopped almonds

1 ½ cups of cubed white cooked turkey

¼ cup of finely chopped parsley

1 chicken bouillon cube crumbled

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon of Dijon mustard

¼ teaspoon of dried basil crushed

Set aside a few of the almonds and chopped parsley for garnish. Fold the milk into the cream cheese with a hand mixer. Add the eggs mixing well after adding each egg individually. Stir in the turkey, parsley, crushed bouillon cube, and salt into the cream cheese mixture with a wooden spoon. Mix well. Pour the mixture into a made 9 to 10 frozen pastry pie crust. Garnish with the almonds and parsley set aside earlier. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake the quiche for 50 minutes or until a fork in the center comes out clean. Serves 4 to 6 people

Balsamic Marinated Carrots

8 long cut carrots cooked tender in salt water (rinsed and drained)

1 cup of light brown sugar

½ cup extra virgin olive oil

½ cup balsamic vinegar

¼ teaspoon dry mustard

1 can of Fried Onion Rings

Mix the brown sugar, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and dry mustard and marinade over cooked carrots for about two hours. Add Fried onion rings on top of carrots before you heat the carrots. Cook in a 350 degree Fahrenheit preheated oven for twenty minutes or until bubbly and ready to serve. Serves 4 to 6 people

Sunny Broccoli Salad

5 cups of broccoli florets

1 cup of white raisins

1 cup of sunflower seeds

½ cup of chopped sweet onion

12 slices of fried crisp crumbled bacon

½ cup of Miracle Whip

4 tables spoons of white sugar

1 tablespoon of vinegar
Combine the broccoli, raisins, sunflower seeds, and crumbled bacon into a large glass serving bowl. Make the dressing with the Miracle Whip, vinegar, and sugar. Marinate the dressing on the broccoli mixture two hours before serving. Serves 4 to 6 people

Holiday Beer Buns

2 cups of Bisquick

1 teaspoon of caraway seeds

2/3 cup of beer

1 packaged of shredded parmesan cheese

Take your dry Bisquick mix and mix in the caraway seeds. Make a hole in the middle of the dry mix and add the beer and stiff with a fork until the batter is moistened. It will be a coarse batter. Spoon the batter into a greased muffin tin. You should have about eight muffins. Bake buns in a preheated 425 degree Fahrenheit oven for about 12 minutes or until fully baked.

Fruit Tea Dessert Bread

8 oz of mixed dried fruit

4 oz of light brown sugar

½ cup of black orange pekoe tea brewed strong

Mix in bowl and leave in refrigerator over night

Add 8 oz. of Bisquick

1 egg

½ teaspoon of all spice

2 tablespoons of marmalade

¼ teaspoon of salt

Add batter to a well greased Bundt pan and bake in a preheated 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 25 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean.
