Turkey Bowl "Thanksgiving Poem"

James Covey
Thanksgiving is game time for boys and men,

when the turkey bowl will crown a new champion.

There is no age limit on this field of glory,

just a chance to bond and a chance for new stories.

This is the only field with no rules against grey hairs,

the only rule is to play hard and to root for all players.

When the time is getting short we yell, "NEXT POINT WINS!",

who would of thought James would of scored, he's only ten!

Another game done and another story made,

I cant wait till next year, Maybe they'll throw it my way!

Now we are stinky and ready to eat,

I can smell my ma's turkey, shes my MVP!
