What better way to make your guests feel the thanksgiving spirit than to decorate your table with homemade arts and crafts. These fun projects are simple and easy to make!

Turkey Napkin Holders

What you'll need:
5x7 inch colored poster board, craft knife, double-sided tape, glue stick, googly eyes, red and yellow construction paper

Cut the head and feet shapes in the top and the bottom edges of a 5 by 7 inch rectangle of the poster board. Leave a 2 by 7 inch center band, and then use the craft knife to cut out 2 wings near the center of the band. Use something round, like a small can or rolling pin, to curl the cardboard.

Overlap the ends and use the double-sided tape to secure them. With the glue stick, put on the two googly eyes, use the red construction paper for the turkey's wattle, and the yellow paper for the beak. If you want to add feathers, you can stick a colorful napkin, folded like an accordion, inside the ring.

Turkey Napkin Rings

What you'll need:
flat wooden craft spoons, acrylic paints, paper towel tube, scissors, orange pipe cleaners, glue, black sharpie, red felt

You will need five of the craft spoons for each ring you make. Color one of them yellow for the turkey's head. Color them other colors for the tail feathers. Cut a two inch section from the cardboard paper towel tube and paint it brown for the turkeys body. Make the turkeys legs out of the orange pipe cleaners, fitting the legs through very small holes poked into the cardboard tube.

Bend them inside the tube so they do not fall out. Use the sharpy marker to draw eyes on the turkey face and the rd felt to make a wattle. Glue the head to the front of the body, and the colored feathers to the back. You now have rings to put festive Thanksgiving napkins in!

Turkey Place Cards

What you'll need:
Ink pad, markers and place cards

A great craft that kids will love to participate with. Press a thumb into the ink and then press down on the place cards for the turkey's body. Do the same thing to make the head and feathers, using your fingertips. To create a beak, use the yellow marker, red for the wattle, and black or brown for the feet. When the card are done, write the guests names on them and set out at their place setting.
