Turkey Hill Party Cake Ice Cream: A Delicious Frozen Snack Choice!

Ice cream is a very popular snack choice that is indulgent and can satisfy even the strongest sweet tooth. It is perfect as a dessert after a meal, or just as a special treat anytime. Even though ice cream is delicious, it can be expensive, sometimes selling for $5 or more for a small carton at the local grocery store. Recently, I've become much more price-conscious when shopping for groceries, and I usually try to buy whatever brand of ice cream is on sale. At my local store, this often means Turkey Hill ice cream, which goes on sale for as little as $2.00 per carton.

Turkey Hill Dairy makes the "ordinary" ice cream flavors like chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry, but I wanted to try something different. That's when a flavor called "Party Cake" caught my eye. According to the package, the Turkey Hill Party Cake ice cream was a vanilla flavored ice cream with buttercream frosting and rainbow-colored cake chunks swirled in. I love having cake and ice cream together, so this sounded delicious! I decided to buy a carton of the Turkey Hill Party Cake ice cream and take it home to try it out.

When I opened the container, I was surprised at just how many brightly colored cake chunks I could see. A lot of times, ice cream manufacturers are skimpy with the "toppings," but this was not the case with the Turkey Hill ice cream. The ice cream was soft enough to scoop right out of the freezer, which is something else I really like about all the Turkey Hill flavors I've tried. The first bite I took of the Party Cake ice cream was absolutely delicious. I could taste the frosting in the ice cream, but there wasn't so much that it was overly noticeable. The cake chunks were soft and chewy and really gave the ice cream a nice "mouth feel." I quickly & enthusiastically finished my dish of Party Cake ice cream, and within a few days my boyfriend and I had eaten the whole carton!

Overall, I really enjoyed the Party Cake ice cream by Turkey Hill Dairy. Cake & frosting seems like an obvious choice to mix into a carton of ice cream, but Turkey Hill is one of the few manufacturers I've seen with an ice cream flavor like this. As I said before, in most areas you can usually find a sale on Turkey Hill ice cream if you shop around, and it will keep it the freezer for a while so don't be afraid to stock up a little when you see a good price.
