Diyarbakirspor 1 - Galatasaray 2
Diyarbakirspor started the game very lively with a threatening attack in the 1st minute. Galatasaray would begin the game with more of the control but Diyarbakirspor were hitting back with quick attacks. The speed paid off in the 11th minute when Sener Askaroglu slipped a through-ball into Andres Mondoza's path. Mendoza made no mistake and easily placed the ball past the goalkeeper, Leo Franco.

Galatasaray would continue the game playing well, but unable to create any dangerous attack while Diyarbakirspor used quick attacks with the possession being 67/33 for Galatasaray. Diyarbakir couldn't hold off the attacks for long as a cross from the left flank fell to the feet of an unmarked Sabri Sarioglu in the 43rd minute. Sabri easily scored past Diyarbakir goalkeeper, Rorys Espinoza, with a right-footed shot. The teams would go into halftime tied at 1-1.

After the break at the interval, Galatasaray came out looking more confident and were able to gain better control of the match. In the 52nd minute, Baris Ozbek gave a beautiful lob to Harry Kewell whom headed it perfectly into the path of Arda Turan leaving him to simply slot the ball past Espinoza. A 2-1 lead was the perfect result to round-off an incredible play/

Minutes after the goal, Espinoza came out of his area to clear the ball but a poor clearance fell to the feet of Harry Kewell. With a open net, Kewell was only able to blast the ball wide. Galatasaray would continue to press and get the majority of the opportunities until Baris Ozbek received his second yellow card of the game for an unnecessary handball, leaving Galatasaray with 10 men.

After the red card, Diyarbakirspor began to gain more possession of the ball but the better goal-scoring opportunities were falling to Galatasaray. A 86th minute disappointment from Andres Mendoza would be the last chance in the game for Diyarbakirspor as he shot over the crossbar from inside the 6-yard box.

Trabzonspor 0 - 2 Besiktas
Trabzonspor hosted Besiktas in Week 12 of the Turkish Super Lig in the biggest game of the week. A win for Trabzonspor would bring them even with Besiktas while the opposite score would bring Besiktas into the Top 3.

The game started off quick and bad for Besiktas as Trabzonspor came at them. Umut Bulut would have chance after chance only for Hakan Arikan to save each time. Trabzonspor would be relentless in their attacks though, as the Besiktas defense could not stop any of their attacks and looked only to counter-attack. With the control of the game in their hands, Trabzonspor would have one more chance to score before halftime, but Umut Bulut's header would go straight into Hakan Arikan's arms.

The second half began with two substitutions for Besiktas and it paid off quickly. Fabian Ernst scored a long distance shot against the flow of the game to give Besiktas a valuable 1-0 lead. Afterwards, Trabzonspor would become a bit scrappy, giving Besiktas the reigns on the game.

After another attempt by Umut Bulut on goal, Trabzonspor began to regain their composure. With time running out, Trabzonspor added to the offensive pressure with every passing minute only for Hakan Arikan to save two close-range goalscoring opportunities. All hope ended in the 90+3rd minute as Bobo received a breakaway cross from Ismail Koybasi and made it 2-0 for Besiktas.
