The Sharks started the scoring early and by the end of the match had out paced the Tuskers that depsite a number of offensive opportunities failed to produce any points.
Coming off their first and only win of the season Kern County continues to struggle in the standings as younger inexperienced players receive more playing time in an ongoing effort to build depth within the organization.
Rookie players Andrew Magargee and Soon Jo Hong were awarded Man of the Match and the Kern Wood Award.
The Tuskers next game will be Mar. 7 at 1 p.m. against San Fernando (4-1).
