Tutto Italia - Epcot's Newest Restaurant in Walt Disney World

Restaurant Review

Jack Oceano
Epcot Center's newest restaurant is called Tutto Italia, and it can be found at the Italy pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase. Tutto Italia replaces the highly regarded L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante, but does it live up to its predecessors? Here is a restaurant review of Tutto Italia, Epcot's newest restaurant.

The atmosphere of Tutto Italia is very formal, which is fine, except that most folks visiting Epcot Center come dressed for a theme park, not for a formal dining experience. So, even though the rest of the patrons are dressed just like you, you still might feel a bit out of place. The wait staff is dressed to the nines in black pants and skirts, starched white shirts, and bow ties, and they don't look comfortable. Which may make you feel a bit uneasy. The chandeliers and walls - and some hideous carpeting - don't make you feel any more at home.

But if you can get past the stuffiness and formality, Tutto Italia does offer some very fine Italian cuisine. The Penne Caprese is outstanding, with fresh, delicious mozzarella and cherry tomatoes that are picture perfect. I highly recommend the soup and salad, particularly the Insalata Mista and Pasta Fagioli. Enjoy some fine Italian wine or a bottle of Peroni, and save room for one of their fabulous desserts.

The prices at Tutto Italia coincide with the atmosphere, but it's nearly impossible to find an inexpensive sit-down meal at Epcot. So, if you want to save a few bucks, choose to lunch at Tutto Italia, instead of visiting the restaurant for dinner. And if you are a Disney Dining Experience member, be sure to bring your card to save twenty percent.

Of course, if you want to dine at Tutto Italia, you should certainly reserve a table by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Just about all the restaurants in Epcot's World Showcase fill up for every meal, so call ahead for priority seating. And be sure to call well in advance. A week or better will help you in getting a table.

Tutto Italia offers both indoor and outdoor seating for both lunch and dinner. The outdoor setting is probably preferable if weather permits. It's less formal and certainly more comfortable, so long as it's not too hot outside.

Enjoy your meal at Tutto Italia, Epcot's newest restaurant at the Italy pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase.

We dined for lunch this past week at Tutto and it was awesome!

We had just been in Italy this past summer and it was like going back there again. Staff was the 'real thing' right from Italy. They were helpful and did a great job. The portions were very large and food was delicious !!

    Great wine list also.

I am going back when I return in February.

    Ciao!

The food at Tutto Italia is maraviglioso! It is pricey but, an excellent value on the Disney Dining Plan....at only 1 credit. Buon appetito!

I agree. Most restaurants at Epcot are pretty pricey. When I was there last (years ago) we ate at the restaurant with the large aquarium and it was very pricey.
