TVLand Tells All in New Original Series: Myths & Legends

KC Morgan
Was game show host and TV producer Chuck Barris really a secret agent, as his biography claims? Did Mama Cass, famous singer with the Mamas and the Papas, really choke to her death on a ham sandwich? And is there a real Poltergeist curse?

TVLand's new original series, Myths & Legends, will explore all of this and more. TV is great, but often it's made greater by the gossip, the buzz, the incredible stories, and the hype that surrounds each show. Where would we be without fat to chew, rumors to repeat, and exciting behind-the-scenes events to keep us tuned in?

Clips, interviews, and voiced opinions will be the earmarks of TVLand's Myths & Legends. Will the truth actually be uncovered in this original series, or will it just be a re-hashing of all the same old stuff we've all heard before?

Reasonably thinking, it would be almost impossible for a TV series to uncover any true mysteries - it's doubtful that Myths & Legends will reveal who was behind the Kennedy assassination or will explain what happened on the night that Marilyn Monroe died, for instance. But will the show provide more gossip, more chatter, more conversation starters, more controversial theories?

Happily, yes - Myths & Legends will do all of that and more. Scheduled to air Wednesdays TVLand's newest original will at the very least be juicy, and at the most reveal some shocking Hollywood secret that no one has yet heard. Who knows?

That's the magic of TV, and when it comes to interesting original series, that's the magic of TVLand. It's a lot more than re-runs in this new modern era of TVLand, a network that shows both old and new television classics. So sit back, relax, and get immersed in the Myths & Legends that make Hollywood, and television, so very exciting.

Which amazing, little-known Myth & Legends will be uncovered? Only TVLand will tell. That leaves us viewers no choice but to watch, wait, and get ready to gossip. After all, there are plenty of Myths & Legends to go around - TVLand will make sure of it. Watch the new episodes every Wednesday at 10pm ET. You don't want to miss anything this juicy.
