Tweet Tweet - We Are Here

Twitter seems an odd combination of instant messaging and texting. The tweeter has 140 spaces to express what they are doing, thinking, or in most cases selling. What can someone share in 140 spaces?

It is considered the social networking site. It would appear that self-promoting is allowed and even encouraged. There seems to be no help if there are questions. Emails sent over a period of two months have never been answered, so just go with the flow and tweet your way to the top.

Associated Content, a web site where writers express their views and thoughts in a more formal approach has linked up with Twitter. The idea is that every time a writer publishes on Associated Content a "tweet" is sent out to invite others to come and view the content. Since Associated Content already has a program for the writer's themselves to follow each other, the goal would be to collect others to come and view content. It is the hope that others are reached from outside the writing community.

True growth happens on Associated Content when outsiders are enticed on the site to get information and respond to advertisements. This is not an easy job. Finding complete strangers who want to read your content is tough. Wait, maybe it is just my attitude.

Perhaps what is needed is the simple law of attraction. Believe that every tweet will bring a new reader, increase page views and make each writer and the entire web site more successful. Believe that great things will happen with every article and every tweet. Invite the universe to make your personal world a better place.

Perhaps if every writer takes this approach the results will be unstoppable. Perhaps my page views will jump into the millions. How about every single person who reads this little article chooses to believe that their twitter network will grow so large they will be able to give up their day job?

Since I am personally a Twitter and Associated Content novice I would need lots of help in the venture! First I would need someone to explain to me what a retweet is and how it works. I would need to draw a larger crowd to my writing even if they think I am wrong. I would need to become a better writer and need others to tell me what is wrong with the article I write. How does one invite that kind of participation? Clearly I can see that is what it will take.

So who is going to join me in the education, twitting, the law of attraction and success for the masses? I am ready for the bombardment of help to enter my in box. On your marks, get set, tweet.

I use it, too. But, I don't get it... not really. But, I have a bunch of followers somehow - of course, most of them are selling penis enlargement pills or pushing porn sites. Still, I use it... don't want to miss out. :-0

I can't figure out what you are supposed to do with twitter or facebook. I told my husband and he asked if I was flirting with cyber relationships! Evidently, both sites have bad reputations. I have to research farther.
