20. If you are not willing to die for Christ, you shouldn't be in ministry.

Hopefully, these signs will help many take a closer look at their purpose in ministry. It may seem obvious, but with all of the apparent failures of ministries, it is evident that many in the pulpit do not understand the requirements specified in Scriptures to be a minister of the Gospel. It is imperative that leaders continually look at themselves and ask if they are worthy of the calling they believe they were given. There is nothing wrong with stepping down from the pulpit for a time of dealing with personal struggles. In fact, I believe it is a truly honorable and courageous act. If you are in ministry, and know that you shouldn't be there, you can count that one day, your dark acts will be exposed by the illuminating light of Christ.

How much better to seek God's face while He may be found, then continue on a platform, when you know you are not standing before God with clean hands and a pure heart.

    Hi For Sure,

I take your statement one step further. If God has called you, but you refuse to live up to that call, you should not be in ministry.

If God has not CALLED you to be in the ministry, you should not be in the ministry.

Actually, these can hold true for any member of Christ's body. However, the blessing is that He can make all things new. Good job!

When you are led by your emotions and make decisions according to what you think instead of what the spirit says you hinder other people in the body from giving birth and it grieves the holy spirit. Also as God uses you DOnt get all cocky and big headed to far ahead of yourself For All glory is due unto God. An individual caught up in these acts should sit down from ministry until God gives further instruction.
