Twilight Eclipse Casting Auditions

Yeah! Summit Entertainment, the production team behind the Twilight Saga has now released information on the Twilight Eclipse Online Open Casting Call. Auditions are due June 30, 2009.

Twilight Saga Eclipse Auditions and Casting Calls Information. The production team of Eclipse is currently searching to cast a 19 year old female with dark hair for the role of Leah Clearwater, a 15-16 year old male with dark hair for the role of Seth Clearwater and a blond male 19-21for the part of Riley. EXTRAS CASTING FOR TWILIGHT NEW MOON
Although Eclipse has not been officially confirmed to be filming in Vancouver, Alan Balthes has updated his Acting Auditions website with useful information on potential extras agents for you to contact to start the process of being registered as an extra in case the Twilight production team does require extras in British Columbia.

Was contacted today by Alan Baltes, publisher of http://acting411.blogspot.com who advised that information crawling around the web, Twitter, Twilight websites and Yahoo Buzz that "Mary Vernieu, is NOT casting Eclipse." "This information is FALSE."

TWILIGHT ECLIPSE CASTING AUDITION INFORMATION
Originally according to Yahoo Buzz, the casting director for Eclipse, the third movie in the The Twilight Saga is Mary Vernieu. Teaming with Twilight Eclipse director, David Slade, Eclipse casting director. But according to Alan Baltes this information is incorrect.

WHO'S DIRECTING TWILIGHT ECLIPSE?
David Slade who has vampire directing experience having worked with Josh Harnett on "30 Days of Night" where he previously worked with casting agent Mary Vernieu.

CASTING VAMPIRES AND ACTORS FOR TWILIGHT ECLIPSE
Perhaps the rumor started because Mary Vernieu is someone who's already had experience auditioning for creatures of the night.

WHEN WILL CASTING CALLS, AUDITIONS, EXTRAS CASTING FOR TWILIGHT ECLIPSE TAKE PLACE?
According to Alan Baltes on his acting auditions website, the auditions will likely not take place until sometime this summer around July 2009 with filming to begin in August 2009 and Twilight Eclipse to be released in theaters June 30, 2010.

IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT GETTING CASTING IN ECLIPSE, DO NOT E-MAIL OR CALL ALAN BALTES OR MARY VERNIEU
Alan Balthes generously updates his website with current information about the Twilight Saga, Eclipse and other potential acting and extra opportunities. He recently posted information about casting for Eclipse and had to take down casting information after just one day because people were innundating the office with phone calls.

BUT I REALLY NEED TO TALK TO THE CASTING DIRECTOR, I'M PERFECT FOR ECLIPSE
If you're thinking, I just need to ask one little question, I'll just call Mary Vernieu or e-mail Alan Balthes, think twice. No, think twenty times over then don't do it. Even if you think you're the next Robert Pattinson or Kristin Stewart, don't do it. They are getting innundated with extraneous phone calls and e-mails and you'll mess things up for everyone in future casting information for Twilight Eclipse and other movie productions may no longer be provided as openly.

SO WHAT CAN I DO TO GET CAST IN TWILIGHT ECLIPSE?
Prepare an audition tape and submit to a legitimate casting agent to gain representation. If you're good, you'll be found, they're looking for you and any good reputable agent will do everything they can to get you noticed -- it's in their best interest to do so.
