Twilight, the New Phenomenon

Twilight is the new thing around but does anyone really know the origin of it, some maybe but not all. This new phenomenon has everyone acting like they have no sense and I'm not going to say that I'm not one of them because I am but I wasn't always like this. In the beginning I couldn't understand the reason for it, to me it was idiotic and I just thought people were on crack quite frankly. It wasn't until my friends' mom had bought the movie and ironically enough I slept over the same day she bought it. It was that same day I figured out why people love it so darn much. It's a great story; it has everything people love nowadays. See normally I don't like watching a movie and also reading the books but after I watched the movie I found out that it came from a book. At first I was hesitant I was like "eh I don't think so." but after I think like 2 months of convincing from my friends and family, I gave in.

This is when it really became obsessive. I read those books in 4 days maybe even less. The first book was amazing I loved it more then I loved the movie. The book gets more into detail about Edward and his family. In the movie they just mainly involve the main characters which are Bella and Edward of course, but they miss my favorite parts in the books. The books show how truly in love both of them are with each other, how each of them would gladly forfeit any type of living if either of them had died. The Twilight saga is like our 21st century Romeo and Juliet; except that it's also a vampire tale so then it reminds me of Underworld. It's just the best story I've read in a long time. But now that NEW MOON'S coming out in theaters soon, I'm praying that they stick to the essence of the book because I believe it will make the movie better then the first. Hopefully it will be amazing just like Stephanie Meyer intended it to be. All in all read the books you will be astonished by the books and how truly amazing they are.
