Twilight's Robert Pattinson Stinks!

Pattinson, Who Plays Edward Cullen in Twilight, Confesses to Poor Hygiene

Rebecca Caroll
Robert Pattinson, or RPattz to the celebrity media pundits, stinks. Yep, he smells bad. Rumors have been floating around since March about the Twilight star's poor hygiene habits. It is hard to imagine that the sexy Edward Cullen actor doesn't bother to bathe but not only has the New Moon crew complained about Pattinson's smelly habits, but now, Robert is fessing up to UK's New! Magazine.

Robert Pattison, 23, told UK's New! Magazine, "These jeans are a few days old. But the top is probably fresh because it gets to the point where even I can't stand the air around me. I don't know, my personal hygiene - it's so disgusting!"

What about all those love crazed Edward Cullen fan's who wish Pattinson would nuzzle their necks? Pattinson said, "If one came up and sat with me for five minutes, the illusion would be gone." When asked if his fans would be disappointed if they met him, Robert said, "Yeah, they probably would! There's just no way to be what so many people want because everybody has their own view of me." Really, RPattz?

Apparently, Robert Pattison is just so busy jetting around the globe and preparing for the November 20 release of the expected New Moon blockbuster, he just doesn't have time for personal hygiene. During the filming of New Moon in Vancouver, one source who worked with Robert Pattinson complained about his dirty little secret. The crew member said, "He stinks. I mean, it's awful. He never showers, and it drives people on the set crazy!" Another crew member exclaimed, "He completely reeks!"

In a March interview with Extra, the Twilight star told the world that he didn't really think it necessary to wash his hair. Pattinson was asked if he actually had gone six weeks without washing his hair. Robert replied, "Probably. I don't know. I don't really see the point in washing your hair."

As Edward Cullen, Pattinson's Twilight character, fans young and old alike have been drawn to the romantic side of the hot vampire. Edward's very essence is romance. Pattinson also dispelled any belief that he is a hopeless romantic like his Twilight character Edward. "I don't think I'm romantic anymore. I'm just a bit manic depressive." According to Robert, playing the role of romantic Edward has hurt his mojo, "Acting ruined my seduction techniques because you start to think everything is a 'method.'"

Ahhhh, those silly actors. One's imagination of the actor actually being the character is part of the great fantasy that makes lovers of the Twilight and upcoming New Moon swoon over their favorite actor/character. Here's a clue, RPattz...girls like boys who shower! I've always been on Team Edward, but I have a feeling that with Robert turned Edward's continued revelations about his smelliness, New Moon just may having me playing for Team Jacob!

Is this article for real or is it made up? If it's the latter, it's hilarious.

It really does explain his "look".

Or perhaps he is just trying to repel the hordes of teenagers that accost him everywhere he goes?

    That explains the hair.
