1. Pandora's Cup: This is a fantastic coffee shop, which I have been going to since I was a teenager; the over all feel of the place is warm and welcome. It is like putting on a nice comfortable pair of jeans and snuggling in for an afternoon of reading. They have a fantastic selection of drinks, from the regular to the exotic. They even have organic items available, they also believe I supplying Fair trade items for those who are concerned with that. They are located on Hennepin Avenue in Uptown, and can be easily reached by phone (612) 381-0700.
2. Amore Coffee: This is a fantastic shop on Grand Avenue in St.Paul. They get a wonderful array of live entertainment in, and they even get some little art shows. They are open every day of the week and have flexible hours to go with their wonderful atmosphere. You can not help but feel like you're transported to a classy little French café when you're at Amore. They boast a wide array of free trade drinks, and have some yummy treats as well. Check them out at their website: amorecoffee.com .
3.318: My final choice to point out is a bit off the beaten path, it is in the suburbs of the Twin Cities, but worth the trip. By day time they are a standard café and coffee bar, offering free trade items to drink, and a variety of high end nibbles to tempt your palate. By night time they turn into a wine venue with boasts live music. They bring in some of the best of the local musicians to give you an intimate feeling with them. Over all you can not beat the 318 for the hip and smooth vibe they offer. Find out about their up coming events and full menu at their website three-eighteen.com.
