Twin Cities Top Three Mini Golf Places

Summer is coming and with it parents will be looking for things to do with their kids. A classic activity that's fun and relatively inexpensive is Miniature golf. I know when I was growing up, my father used to take me miniature golfing often. The Twin cities have a wealth of miniature golf places for you to use, both indoors and outdoors. I have taken the time to compile a small list of some of my favorite miniature golf spots in the Twin cities.

Putt'er There Mini Golf is located in St Paul's Como park area and is nestled into a perfect scenic location. The theme in general seems to be geared at families, with a hole that even features Sponge Bob Square pants. The cost is flat across the board for children and adults if you play just a half course its $2.50, and if you play a full 18 holes its $5. How cool is that? You can make a full day of it with other actives around like the Como Zoo, and the little kiddy amusement park.

Adventure Gardens Mini Golf is located in Richfield and is a very large and nice course. They are open from May 2nd until Labor Day, their hours to vary so make sure you call them to find out their hours. They have 18 holes surrounded by beautiful gardens, landscaping, waterfalls, ponds and streams. 10 holes are accessible to people with mobility impairments. They are affordable and have two sets of prices, before 5pm and after ranging from $6.50 down to just $3 you can contact them at 612-861-9169 for a full list. They don't have a real theme other than classic enjoyable beauty, and there are some other small ice cream parlors, and child areas in the general Richfield area.

Lilli Putt is located in Coon Rapids. Lilli Putt is listed as a family fun center and the best thing is they also have Go Karts and Bumper Boats. This center makes for a full day of fun all on its own. They also host children's birthday parties if you're looking for a place to go. They have a classic Mini golf theme with castles, and moats abound. The prices are reasonable $6 for adults and just $5 for kids you can contact them at 763-755-1450.
