Twinkle, Twinkle, Drop of Blood

Written During a Suicide Attempt, when I was 24

Twinkle, twinkle, drop of blood.
Why am I misunderstood?
Tell me why I am so bad,
And I'll tell you why I'm so sad.

Twinkle, twinkle, drop of blood.
Don't you know you are so good?
Flowing from the wound of Man.
No one out there understands.

Twinkle, twinkle, while you can,
'Til Life flows from this wound of Man.
No one cares about my life,
So I'll end it with this knife.

Twinkle, twinkle, sharpened blade.
All my debts will now be paid.
Pay my dues in warm, red blood,
With a life that is no good.

Twinkle, now, with all your might,
While my eyes put out the Light.
Little blade that ends my life,
Ends all of my earthly strife.

Twinkle, twinkle, drop of blood;
You're no longer any good.
Life has only caused me pain;
Now my life flows down the drain.

Twinkle, twinkle, Lights on High,
As I come to the Other Side;
Away from prison they call home,
Where I'll never be alone.

Twinkle, twinkle, drop of blood.
Why am I misunderstood?
Tell me why I am so bad,
And I'll tell you why I'm so sad.
