Twins Birthday Party Theme; Motorcycle and Safari Together

Come Take a Motorcycle Ride Through the Jungle with Us

Planning a birthday party theme for twins, can be extremely stressful. Try to find a theme that both twins agree on, or put both themes together. Make sure it sound good, because that's what gets the kids more excited.

When thinking of twins most people think of Thing One and Thing Two, Two Peas In A Pod, or Mickey mouse and Minnie mouse, think outside of the box.

Being a mother of a boy/girl twin and another son I know how frustrated it can be. I was going through this ordeal a few months back, because I have a big birthday party coming up in April for my babies. And to make plans even harder on me, I had to fit my other kid into the theme, because his birthday is 2 1/2 weeks after my twins. And why go through all the trouble and the money when I can get all three done at once?

We discussed so many party themes and ended up with a safari/jungle and motorcycle theme. This was perfect, because we named it "Come take a motorcycle ride through the jungle with us." My kids thought this idea was cute, fun, and exciting. If you have a boy twin who enjoys motorcycles and a girl who enjoys animals this is perfect for you. Here's how I planned it.

Party Decorations, Goody Bags

Split everything up. If you have 6 tables to decorate do three of them with black tablecloths and Harley Davidson plates, cups, and napkins. And do the other 3 tables with a safari cloth, plates, and napkins.

As far as utensils do all black. Then half the room safari balloons and half black and orange. Place a big tiger blow up centerpiece on one of the twins tables and on the other table place a huge motorcycle blow up balloon.

For the goody bags, I bought black sunglasses, motorcycle book markers, Harley tattoos, Harley stickers, and black pencils. Added them to a black shiny goody-bag. Then for the safari I bought animal stampers, pencils, stickers, tattoos and erasers and placed them into different jungle print bags such as cheetah, zebra etc.

I know it's sounds like a lot for goody bags, but if you shop smart and go to Ebay the price wasn't bad at all.

Invitations And Cake

Since your having two parties in one, you still want each child to feel special on their day, so this means two different invitations. Again on Ebay you can have your own customized for cheap. I bought motorcycle and safari. On each envelop, I wrote "Come take a motorcycle ride through the jungle with us."

The fun part was thinking about how I was going to make this cake fun and still be in the motorcycle/safari theme. My daughter loves tigers, son twin wanted a monkey, and the third child wanted the motorcycle. What did I go with?

I went online and printed out a colored picture of a monkey holding a white baby tiger, and a cool looking Harley Davidson motorcycle. On one side of the cake will be safari, and the other side will be motorcycle.

You can also have someone draw a monkey and tiger riding on a motorcycle, that would be simply adorable and fun. Then around the border do black and white zebra stripes, and flames.

Princess And Cars Twin Birthday Theme

All little girls love to dress up like a princess, and boys love to race. To make this a theme, you can call it " Come racing to our castle with us."

You don't have to go with a certain party theme, you can always go simple and do half the party with one color and half the other, half the party polka dots for the girl and the other half circles for the boy,or do their favorite food to eat as a theme. It's about using your creativity and having fun.
