Twisted Monkey Studios

Twisted Monkey Studios is an independent movie production company locally owned and operated in Asheville, North Carolina.

Right now, Twisted Monkey is working on three projects. Release dates for these projects are unknown, and all projects are still at some stage in the production process.

Little Alice and Abner is a horror short, about "a pair of young and unsuspecting girls approach a house on a dark road. Reagan and Celeste find out they both been hired to baby sit for the night. They soon find out there are more to these kids when their imaginary friends start coming to life." Terence Washington and Arvie Lowe Jr. wrote this script. This project is being worked on while the Inner Demons script is finished.

Inner Demons is the second project launched by Twisted Monkey Studios. This project is taking more time as the owner of the company simultaneously works on other projects, and is being particular about the details of the script. This film is about "Jack, a recovering drug addict who is finally starting to piece his life back together. He has a good job, a place to live, and new friends to help him in case he starts to slip again. Until a group of troublemakers come into his work and cause trouble. He soon finds out that the group of troublemakers is actually a small clan of Vampires, and that they will not stop until they have completed their task."

The most recent project, a film called Helpless was announced in December 2007. The owner is aiming to shoot this project, along with Alice and Abner at the same time. Twisted Monkey aims to begin shooting this film in February 2008, so if you are interested in auditioning for a part in the film, check out the page and send some information. Helpless is yet another horror film about a group of young people whose road trip to Vegas turns deadly when their van is stolen and they are left stranded in the middle of nowhere.
