Twitter Fight is Over for MCs Fabolous and Soulja Boy

William Browning
MTV reports that rappers Fabolous and Soulja Boy have picked fights with each through Twitter. Fab got on to Soulja Boy for a video showing women using cocaine in a hotel room that was allegedly Soulja's. Soulja Boy shot back at him on Twitter, saying "Next time I see you boy umma fold you I hope you ready Lil Boy" and called him out through his Twitter account.

Fabolous went on to create a Twitter trending topiccalled "SouljasCokeHabit." The two have since made amends. MTV also stated the two are getting back to the music that their fans enjoy. Hopefully, Twitter users will relax, call back the dogs and get down to what really matters.

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus, star of Disney Channel's Hannah Montana got into it with her ex, Justin Gaston, over the Twitter waves of all things, according to The Frisky. Apparently upset that the two of them broke up, Gaston (@justinmgaston) Tweeted "People mistake stupidity for bravery way too easily." To which Miley (@MileyCyrus) responded "I love when people mistake bravery with writing a few stupid tweets trying to make it seem like they don't care." Ouch.

Let's see who wins that war of words. Miley Cyrus is adored by her fans and makes millions of dollars. Justin Gaston is an underwear model who probably wouldn't be nearly as much of a household name if he didn't date Miley. Anyone who ends up dating Ms. Cyrus will automatically move up a notch in the world. If that person is unheard of before he dated Cyrus, then he will fade to obscurity just as quickly after they break up. Miley Cyrus wins that Twitter fight hands down.

Twitter Humor

I love to read Tweets from celebrities. Some of my favorite Tweets come from my favorite stars on Star Trek: The Next Generation. The rapport between the actors on Twitter is fantastic.

Earlier in 2010, it was revealed that LeVar Burton (@levarburton) accidentally posted his cell phone number on his Twitter account. Suddenly, Trekkers everywhere had his own personal cell phone number. Brent Spiner (@BrentSpiner), who played Lieutenant Commander Data on the show, chimed in: "Getting together with [Patrick] Stewart and [Jonathan] Frakes tonight. No sure where. Oh yeah, I can call LeVar for directions."

Wil Wheaton (@wilw) also got in on the humor, saying he had lost someone else's phone number. He was going to be sure to call LeVar Burton to see if he had that particular number. What's great about these Tweets is that you get to see the personality of the celebrities truly come out.

Twitter is a wonderful medium with which fans can keep in touch with their favorite celebrities. It can also be a nasty place where people can dump on each other and get into "fights." Sometimes the fights can be truly horrible, and others, like Fabolous and Soulja Boy, eventually work things out.
