Having passed away over 35 years ago, the charge would remain on his record, until now. Outgoing Florida Governor Charlie Crist petitioned the Florida Clemency Board to reconsider. After consideration, Jim Morrison is now posthumously pardoned for a crime fans say he didn't commit.

Arizona has been the topic of discussion regarding immigration laws for the better part of the year. Whether for or against immigration laws, Human Rights groups are calling for basic civil rights of all parties involved contending there have been human rights violations. Derechos Humanos is a Spanish word for Human Rights.December 18, 2010 is International Day of the Migrant and International Human Rights Day.
Xiaobo
One of the most prestigious awards in the world is the Nobel Peace Prize. Former winners include Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr., and Albert Arnold (Al) Gore Jr. This year the recipient is the Chinese Civil Rights activist Liu Xiaobo. During the ceremony, Xiaobo will be represented by an empty seat where his Nobel Peace Prize and diploma sits. Xiaobo is imprisoned by the Chinese government for "inciting subversion of state power." In the 74 year history of the award, this will be the first time a recipient was not in attendance.
