Twitter Without Alec Baldwin

Valerie Ferrari

Alec Baldwin had a busy day on Twitter on Tuesday, tweeting his version of events on an American Airline flight that apparently got delayed because he refused to stop playing the "Words With Friends" app on his cell phone. Alec couldn't even stop playing word games on his twitter asking: "What's a twelve letter word that is interchangeable for HARVEY LEVIN?" He later deactivated his twitter account.

Piers Morgan apparently thought a Twitter without Alec Baldwin was an awful idea: "Twitter, we need to save @AlecBaldwin."

But, as these tweets show, life goes on with or without Alec Baldwin on Twitter.

Some tweeters, like Donald Trump have other axes to grind: "@BarackObama, the habitual vacationer, should read #TimeToGetTough during his upcoming 17 day Hawaii vacation.

MCHammer issued a challenged to Justin Bieber haters: "oh yea and I'm a proud @justinbieber fan. Any grown man got a problem with that don't tweet me, meet me and lets do it bully."

Other tweeters have information and announcements to share:

Justin Bieber wants you to add him on the "Sickest iphone app ever Download and add me in "Heads Up with Cristiano. rock.li/ve7"

After tweeting that his 10-year-old daughter just became an entrepreneur at the age of 10 years old, Ludacris revealed this big announcement to his followers: "VISIT THE SOFT LAUNCH OF KARMASWORLD.COM TODAY! EDUCATIONAL WEBSITE FOR KIDS W/ MUSIC BY KARMA!!!!"

Paris Hilton made an announcement about her upcoming clothing line: "Just finished my design meeting for my Fall/Spring @HoneyBunch_JP Clothing line collection. Now on my way to set for my campaign shoot."

Nicole Polizzi, a.k.a. Sn00ki, has been busy tweeting her holiday giveaways "in the 12 Days of Snooki."

Britney Spears tweeted her thanks to "80,000 fans that showed up in Mexico City. Can't imagine what you'd do if u had to go to the bathroom! Xxoo," with a link to a photo of the venue. You might never have thought to add that last bit about the bathroom, but when you see the photo, you have to admit, it could be a real problem.
