Twiztid End World of Webs Tour at Clutch Cargos

Friday night, Detroit's own hip hop duo Twiztid brought the final date of their World of Webs tour to Pontiac at Clutch Cargos.

Twiztid is touring in support of their eighth album Heartbroken & Homicidal which features the single "Spiderwebs".

The song was the inspiration for the tour name and for the band's eyecatching set which consisted of a massive web and a big spider.

Along for the ride during the tour were their Psychopathic Records label mates DJ Clay and Blaze Ya Dead Homie.

DJ Clay, who is Insane Clown Posse's touring deejay, spent the evening spinning in between sets.

During his time on stage he gave the audience a preview of his upcoming mixxtape Book of the Wicked Part II.

Blaze came out and performed a number of tracks off of his latest release Gang Rags including "Dead Man Walking" and "Ridin' The Whip" as well as old school tracks like "Casket" and "Stick Your Hands Up".

However, it was his performance of "Escape Artist" that really stood out.

Finally, it was time for Twiztid and the crowd was more than ready for them as they screamed and rocked out as the plastic covering the set was removed and Jamie Madrox and Monoxide hit the stage.

During their hour set the band pulled out hits spanning their entire career from "We Don't Die" and "Rock The Dead" to "Story of Our Lives" and "Afraid of Me".

At one point, Blaze returned to the stage to join Twiztid in performing "Bussyoheadopen", which was easily the highlight performance of the night.

The only disappointing part of their set was the lack of new material. The band only performed a couple of songs off of Heartbroken & Homicidal including a stellar performance of "P.S.A.".

Twiztid certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves and have a lot of energy. The band took time to give a shot out to their hometown crowd and all of the friends and family who had made it out to the show.

Madrox went on to thank all of the people who had helped put the tour together.

The band closed their set with "Renditions of Reality".
