Two Affiliate Programs to Expand Your Business in 2007

Being successful as an affiliate marketer means constantly scouting for new, high paying programs with products that are in demand. I am constantly scouting such programs, and have found two worthy of sharing.

One, which I actually added in late 2006, is Joe Bucks. This program provides you with free hosting and your own branded website for many different herbal products such as Hoodia and weight loss supplements. All you have to pay for is the domain name. Joe Bucks pays twice a month with no minimums, and pays 50% commissions on all sales! You can choose from over 30 different pre-made websites that are easy to edit with your own brand (mine is www.thefatterminator.com).

If you prefer, you can also use many premade banners, text and keyword links as well. Another great thing about Joe Bucks is the incredible amount of helpful information on the site on how to be successful in affiliate marketing. I picked up quite a few good tips by reviewing this information, the most helpful being the keyword generation tips.

The second, is a company called Traffic Payouts. The product, which I purchased prior to becoming an affilate, is branded as " Type-at-Home". It is actually a pretty good course on becoming an affiliate marketer - and is branded this way to remove people's fear of having to be Internet-savvy to succeed.

The course itself included a giant list of free classified ads - I hadn't thought of using classifieds to build my business and was happy to discover this, as Google rates for keywords are high. It walks you through using Clickbank as well, and I have had little or no success with campaigns using Clickbank products. This is the only part of the course I didn't agree with, or learn from.

Traffic Payouts offers up to 70% commission, lifetime cookies, and payments twice a month. They also have a bonus program, where you can earn such cool prizes as LCD TVs. They offer a base link, sites to target ,and banner ads if you want to place them on your site.
